    Look, lets be clear, the ump is to blame mostly for running up Arrieta's pitch count, but there is blame to go around... not that you can win every game, but you should win every Arrieta game...

    Why is it when other teams are super good and winning a lot, they get all the calls, but when it's the cubs, they get squeezed??? Because the league told the umps to not issue too many walks to the cubs. Oh, well, that's ok then...

    Coomer is fine talking about baseball, just not describing it. That said, Pat could do better with someone who could talk even better about baseball. A lot of times this year, Pat has sounded like he's going through the motions, which with this team, is hard to believe.

    Really think this was a great game for the team. Soler was awesome. Bryant continues to be awesome. Ross's 100th. The only thing missing from this team right now is Rizzo and Heyward hitting awesomeness... which simply must be coming.

    I don't know of one, but I'm sure it has been done. It seems obvious they do. I don't have a problem with that for close pitches (this one was not), but on 3-1, you have to give the guy a walk.

    I wish I was going to this game instead of Sunday. Normally I'd enjoy a quality Bumgarner game... but it's supposed to be wet and cold and will probably be tough to score. Tonight, hopefully is a relaxing evening of watching Peavy get angry at himself.
