  1. Garland would be great, but if Williams is seeking a king's ransom for players like Contreras and Dye, can you imagine what he'd want for Garland? Probably Hill, Pie, and Veal for starters. Renteria for Garland is the rumor... not sure that's something Hendry can match.
  2. what happened to Cotts?
  3. 12-8, cubs take two in every series.
  4. wtg, marshall. SCORE SOME RUNS NOW GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR
  5. Have no fear Vinnie Chulk is in the game now. Who the hell is this guy? Dunno...but I bet we couldn't hit him.. we didn't
  6. talk about coming back down to earth... still think they will win, though.
  7. i like the cubs chances in all of these games.
  8. the playoffs are 51.7% - you were looking at "championship". i know. that's all i'm concerned with. :)
  9. wanting to put your 753rd homerun in your trophy case makes you a jerk? maybe other things, but that seems reasonable. No, it was the way he said "I thought they threw the balls back here. They lied." That's what came off as kind of jerk-ish. Wanting the ball doesn't make him a jerk. Wow, Bonds really cant say anything without being made into a jerk. It was pretty obvious he said that jokingly, and in noway meant anything by it. Correct. Like I've said before, people are just looking for reasons to hate Barry. well, the way that he said that particular quote, you could tell he was joking, but i think it's hard for barry bonds to come across as sincere, outgoing, or playful because he has such a defense built up between himself and everyone else - and partly for good reason. sometimes he tries, but since it sounds dick-ish he only digs a deeper hole, then decides to joke less, imo.
  10. 32.54897 i'll take it. and the pecota adjusted version has the cubs with a higher percentage chance at the wild card than both san diego and l.a. also, the championship moves up to 32.70772.
  11. it'd sure be nice to end the night a mere 2.5 back, as well as a game closer to the wild card (though that's not what we will end up with).
  12. wow, making jokes about chemical imbalances. at least you were clever abou... oh wait, it wasn't clever either. your post had nearly formed a whole point for once, then that. good job.
  13. meh. ground out to second.
  14. yeah. sorry about that. was deleting the stats alongside player/pos, and deleted that, apparently. will update.
  15. suprised to see lee that high. where did you get that list?

  18. No way do the Giants let him break the record on the road. it would be ironic, however, if he did it in milwaukee.
  19. jacque has also been, at least to an extent, a successful major league baseball player. neifi has not.
