I am (NOT) looking forward to Ben running for his life behind an uber crappy offensive line. I am looking forward to seeing Mendenhall and the young linebackers (Woodley and Timmons).

There is some young talent in the Rangers organization and Andy has done a good job of developing it at the minor league level. Now he's being given a chance to do the same with the big club. Improvement will take time, but he's the right guy for the job (EXTREME BIAS ALERT).

I fully expect Nolan Ryan to do something about the pitching in Texas. This move is step one. The new pitching coach has worked with most of the young guys that are with the big club and had success with all of them (in terms of their minor league numbers).

The Rangers are certainly fixated on pitching. Last night, they fired Pitching Coach Mark Connor and Bullpen Coach Dom Chiti.

I don't think this series will end well, but that was one of the most exciting games I've ever watched. Detroit is an incredible team but this Pens team just won't say die. All I can think about now is that 5-3 on Saturday. Oh well, hopefully we can get a seventh game where anything can happen. Either way, this young team has really been exceptional.

I think the Pens have finally had enough of the Flyers. Hopefully this lead will hold up and we can grab the popcorn for the rest of the Western finals.

I don't think the Flyers have gotten a single good bounce this series. From the deflected goals, to the bounce of Coburn's grill, they've all been bad bounces. As an aside, NO ONE boos like Philly fans. Also, Marian Hossa is nasty.

the referees have not been good, though i'm happy to see hatcher be punished for breathing. that may have been a crappy penalty, but the refs owed us for not giving crosby the goal a blind man could see went in. MAX!!!!!

i think rj gets booed because he's owned us. either that or because people from pittsburgh (me notwithstanding, of course) aren't that smart. as for the flyers, i don't think this will be the last time in the next 5 years these two teams square off for the right to play for the cup.

yeah that is the jaromir jagr style of penalty killing, hang out at center ice and leave your team 2 men shorthanded. i guess it works when the opposing team pisses away a 4 on 2 in the offensive zone. yeah your boys handled that terribly. geno's finally figured out that since he sucks on breakaways, the slapper is the way to go. oh, and did you know that rj is originally from pittsburgh and grew up a pens fan? hadn't heard that before.

That is an awful trade for Minnesota. They are overpaying for a guy that is one strike away from a year long suspension. Terrible trade.
