You're adding wrong. That's well over 2000. Fixed...Fister was only 416.5 and I had the wrong number for Hamels - s/b 420.5 not 416 so total is 1998

  3. Clint receives Kid Rodelo's 6th round pick in the Olt for Allen and Zimmerman deal
  4. Kiss ass! [-X I paid $10 via paypal also...I want change (or can keep for a later bride)... $0.63 is pretty cheap, even for a mail order bride. LOL...butterfingers

  7. I have a few non exempt guys I can't keep - will be a struggle to figure out which ones I end up using my points on but these players could be 1st, 2nd or 3rd round picks...do you want them now (for a price of course) or do you want to the risk with the draft and have 15 other owners pick them up... Teixeira (547) injured a few times in 2012 so body is starting to breakdown but still managed a strong 547 points Butler (503.25) up and coming 1B/DH for the Royals... Reyes (471) aging SS but resurrected carrier in 2012 for Marlins - will take talent north of the border with a stacked line-up Bourn (456.26) break out season but no team for 2013? could be a Cubbie? Cain (722) great year; tough to let go but will for right offer
  8. I have been out of pocket for a while so in case it is not apparent Kid Rodelo is coming back
  9. And even though I'm not coming back and really have no say, this is something I could fully agree with Adam on. A suggestion to continue to have all managers participate to the very end is to have a non playoff team bracket. Whoever wins, gets the #1 overall pick as a prize.
  10. I subtracted points from week 15 results because 4 teams went over the 3 start limit. When we had the 3 start limit, it was against a Scioscia's Tragic Illness (week 15) not week 14 against Tim...I mentioned in last week's thread that I went over and it would not matter if an adjustment was made because I won by plenty. it wasn't supposed to be week 14, let me double-check what happened. edit - ok, i had accidentally entered them in the wrong week and then re-entered them in week 15, but when i deleted them from week 14 it didn't take for some reason. should be right now. Thanks for making the adjustments...

  12. I just saw that...a few days ago I had a one game lead now I am tied...interesting.
  13. Are you saying Olt or Buckel or Olt & Buckel? If it's both of them, then yeah, I'd be pretty happy with that, too. Besides the possible package the Blue Jays could put together, and it's increasingly doubtful that they will be buyers this going around, that's the most intriguing haul I can imagine for Garza. Olt, Buckel and possibly one of Loux or Grimm with maybe a short season guy like Abel De La Santos as the cherry on top. If the Cubs have to sweeten the pot with a prospect coming back, I'm good. Question is, how motivated are the Rangers to get this done? If you want a lottery pick out of the Rangers' system, take a look at: Rougned Odor SS/DH – Age 18 – The 5’11″ Venezuelan jumped onto everyone’s radar last season with his feisty play in the NWL. Having Andrus, Profar, Alberto, and Odor at the same position in the same organization is just wrong. Odor his hitting .297 with 8 HRs, 3 Triples, 19 Doubles, 35 RBI, 45 Runs, and 12 SB to go with a 40/16 K/BB ratio over 266 at bats on the season. His .184 ISoP for a 170 pound 18 year old kid in the SALLY is pretty remarkable and suggests there may be more power yet to come (from baseballinstinct.com) Roman Mendez SP 06/25/90 H:6’2” W:180. Acquired by way of a trade from the Boston Red Sox, Roman Mendez makes the Texas minor league system even more pitching-rich. Mendez is a hard-throwing Dominican that has been brought along in a deliberate manner, not skipping through levels very quickly. He rewarded that patience with a 9-1 win-loss record and a 3.31 era last season in the Sally league during the 2011 season. His arsenal consists of a mid-90’s fastball, a slider that shows plus potential and a developing changeup. That “stuff” was good enough for a sparkly k/bb ratio of 130/45 in 117 innings pitched. After playing for 4 seasons, the last of which was single A ball, it seems that Mendez needs to be challenged a bit. (from baseballinstinct.com) - I acquired for Salty Rangers would be the ideal trading partner, because they have a lot of solid prospects blocked by long-term contracts at the majors. I think you could get Olt and Buckel and maybe throw in a Miguel De los Santos. Odor's not really a lottery ticket though, he's easily in their top 10 prospects, probably top 5 at this point with a shot at top 100 at the end of the year. Mendez is also one of their top 10s at this point too. See how much I know about the minor leagues...

  15. Ended up with 4 starts but should not impact final results
  16. I don't know what happened...I made a reply to Quaker's post and now it is blanked but anyways I don't know what happened but I thought Tim was going to adjust - probably got busy then I see Quaker's post so I am all confused. I thought that I scored zero points on Monday with 2 starts but I must have missed the late games - will trust Abuck on the calculation :). My suggestion was to only have five starts since I thought I had zero points if an adjustment could not be made.
  17. Cain and Minor were starters on Monday...
  18. I like Smoral too... HS 6'8" 225 lbs lefty low 90s (touching 95) dropping on the board due to a foot injury...decent secondaries with slider and changeup low 80s And a very strong commitment to UNC. Hopefully money talks...

how many steals..thought Kemp projected 50HR/50Steals
  23. Thanks for volunteering..can you add RP to Brett Myers so I can add him as a RP? I thought we agreed to abide by the eligibility rules. When he becomes eligible as a RP, then he'll be eligible. I am following the rules: 7. Positional eligibility is determined by a players current starting position or his past use. These rules are set forth on the league site as 10 appearances at a position in the current year or 20 the previous year. However, if a player is "named" the starter at a position, immediate eligibility will be granted by the commissioner upon request and general concurrence. Pitchers may be moved into either SP or RP positions freely but may only be used in the role they are used by their major league team. Pitchers in a position other than where they are used will not accrue points during that appearance. Brett Myers has been named closer.
  24. I think we need to clarify that this isn't illegal. We have enough confusion in this league without calling legal rosters illegal just bc you have some starting player spots empty. this is not illegal. so what's your problem!!?!?!?
