  1. Well they did lose to the Chiefs.
  2. Why would you want Zook fired? I'd figure you would want him extended for life. :P
  3. the self-imposed sanctions are a tad harsh. if the infractions were any greater, IU might have had to force itself to buy the NCAA a coke. Apparently there were 3,041 reported secondary violations last year overall. Unfortunately, this one being committed with Harris is going to make it more of a story. And less than half were committed by Indiana Our women's water polo team cheats like hell, what can I say? :?

Apparently there were 3,041 reported secondary violations last year overall. Unfortunately, this one being committed with Harris is going to make it more of a story. The one thing that bothers me about this situation is that really this seems like a silly violation to even have happen. I mean those non-contact dates dictated by the NCAA aren't exactly top secret info or some obscure rule...one quick call to compliance and Crean could have verified the actual date. I mean yeah, Buckley gave him bad info but...maybe in the future Tom will hopefully call compliance first instead of relying on Buckley. :P
  5. Apparently Indiana self-reported a secondary violation by Crean in the recruitment of Gary Harris and so now the IU message boards are lighting up with hysteria. :stickman: http://espn.go.com/mens-college-basketball/story/_/id/7089990/sources-indiana-hoosiers-self-reported-violation-involving-recruit-gary-harris
  6. I don't think Nebraska is enjoying their indoctrination to the B1G so far.
  7. Hoo Hoo Hoosiers!
  8. I'm just glad they won today. The Monday night game in Detroit is simply huge.
  9. The way you guys are playing today, you are easily the worst offense IU has faced so far. That includes all four teams we played OOC. I'm not complaining but I'm stunned, lol. their defense will keep them in most games, but you can't win every game 10-7. They have to figure out their QB situation and they HAVE to settle on a RB. I hate it when every series there's a new QB/RB combo. Well they said during the game even the QB's themselves don't buy into this 2-QB system so it just seems like a bad, bad way to go about business. I'm secretly hoping IU pulls Kiel for Tre Roberson in the 2nd half. He is a true freshman but he is a dual threat at least and really at this point Kiel is doing jack squat for IU at QB. Our offense has been horrible except for one drive.

  11. ohhhhhhhhhh god dammit we finally get a coach worth 1/2 his salt and he has to have terrible health issues. I cant believe it, but I'm pinning for the Glen Mason days Yes it does suck. When Hoeppner died, it felt like a punch in the gut. Hopefully you guys don't have to go through that.
  12. Have fun destroying our awful team. :(
  13. Graham was clearly holding Casper there...you know, the freaking friendly ghost. How can you get called for holding on a play where you don't even touch an opposing player???
  14. Honestly I don't remember expectations for that 2003 team being all that high beyond the fact that they had Prior & Wood...when they even made the playoffs, I was pleasantly surprised. That is why I guess the meltdown against Florida never bothered me that much...I'll always be far more depressed by the 2008 team melting down against LA.
  15. I guess I don't understand the question. You can recover the ball if it doesn't cross the line of scrimmage, but you still have to make the 1st down after you recover to keep possession. Otherwise people would get their punt blocked as a strategy. Yeah, I don't think he thought that question through all the way.
  16. Mizzou fans are amazingly hilarious about recruits. Wait until we don't get DGB. "WE DIDN'T WANT HIM ANYWAYS, HE'S GOT BUST WRITTEN ALL OVER HIM" Indiana basketball fans get the same way about recruits.
  17. That is not correct. The Bears beat the Saints at the Superdome back in the early 90's when Harbaugh was quarterback. I remember that game because Harbaugh was getting killed by the Saints defense all day long but somehow put together a game winning TD drive at the end. Found the box score: http://www.pro-football-reference.com/boxscores/199110270nor.htm
  18. Romo, wow. A field goal there might have sealed it.
  19. Hey Jets, you might want to cover that Witten guy.
  20. Oh boy the Sanchise is back! :P
  21. Sanchez is turrible.
  22. i love him, but it's true He is kind of dreamy.
  23. I'm not saying that they won't be a contender but this was a 13-3 team a year ago and they trade 5 guys for Jones? I just don't see him being worth it no matter how you cut it.
  24. After watching them today -- especially that OLine -- I'm not sure they really did. Seems like they are a little like us in that respect. They have issues up front and it doesn't look like they addressed them. Yeah the Falcons gave up too much for Julio Jones and that hurt their ability to solidify their overall team. Julio might end up being a hell of a WR but the short-term gains are not going to justify the cost of that trade. I thought the Jones pickup was perfect. They needed another speedy WR to stretch the field. But for some reason the OC didn't call anything deep all game. Wasn't that the point of giving 5 guys for Jones? Well, how often can you throw the ball deep to him if the QB doesn't have time to throw it? ;) The problem is that they needed to trade 5 guys to draft him. No speed receiver is worth that much unless the rest of your team is perfectly aligned which obviously Atlanta has other issues too.
