  1. I hate how more Blackhawks games aren't available on the dish here in Fort Wayne. Well, yeah I could get Center Ice but it is just weird. I can get almost every Cubs game and Bulls game here but not the Blackhawks??? No I'm not a Bulls fan but still, their games are usually available if I wanted to watch.
  2. You have put a lot of thought into this punishment. :hello:
  3. Because there wasn't much else to do at that point except have some kind of blind faith that Hanie would not suck too badly. Presumably he knew the entire playbook and would be able to execute at a half decent level. Which is not what has happened obviously. Yeah, except there was all of one quarter of meaningful sample size to go on there and even in that sample size he threw two INT. He's the worst quarterback we've trotted out since the pre-Grossman era of Quinn/Krenzel/Etc Right, that is why I said "blind faith". I wasn't ready to give up on the Bears entire season after that San Diego game. 7-3 with a weak remaining schedule...it didn't seem like that wild of an idea that the Bears could win 3 more games. The defense and special teams were still solid at that time and you still had Forte...and essentially they did just give away the Kansas City and Denver games.

  5. Obviously the timeout helped our defense.
  6. Not every week but sometimes, yeah.
  7. I'm trying to think if the Packers losing is good for the Bears or bad. I would thinking bad. Losing means that HFA is still not clinched when we play them. And even if we beat them, they will likely have clinched it by virtue of SF losing. If that happens they have nothing to play for against the Lions in Week 17 But if SF loses on MNF then Green Bay will have clinched already, right? Green Bay isn't going to lose to KC. Thanks for not answering my hypothetical question at all. :P

  9. He didn't want to mess up anyone's weekend plans, duh.
  10. Nothing wrong with some women's volleyball. I spent 3 years working games for the Indiana women's team. Hot chicks in tight shorts, can't go wrong there.
  11. Time for the D to score again.
  12. Maybe the Bears should just copy Denver's Tebow offense and use it with Hanie. He probably runs better than he throws at this point. 8-)
  13. The Bears suck so bad right now.
  14. Butler wins on a tip in with one second left. Wow. Purdue was in control of that game all day until the end.
  15. Purdue has missed 7 straight field goals, Butler has missed 7 straight free throws.
  16. Mostly agree with Exile there. IU didn't start a steady decline in RMK's final years. It was more like a steady plateau. He still was consistently winning 19-20 games and making the NCAA tournament every single year. Bringing in kids like Jeffries and May would have gotten things going again for RMK.
  17. Of course. But Pat Robertson goes on TV and says natural disasters are punishment from God. And people apparently believe it. Point is, I guarantee you a large amount of people think Tebow is getting a hand from the big guy. And again, this is Tebow's fault how? Hell, if anything, it's the people looking for any excuse to crucify him that's perpetuating the Jesus image right now. It doesn't have to be his fault to make it annoying though.
  18. Of course. But Pat Robertson goes on TV and says natural disasters are punishment from God. And people apparently believe it. Point is, I guarantee you a large amount of people think Tebow is getting a hand from the big guy. It truly is amazing the people that actually believe those kind of things. I have worked with people who believe natural disasters are a punishment from God for our space research and I do currently work with people who believe Tebow has God in his back pocket. And I'm just talking fairly average white collar types of jobs. The truth is most people are [expletive] idiots.
  19. The whole thing is just [expletive] annoying because he gets to play the QB position as shitty as possible but the meatballs get to keep playing the "he's a winner card". It is simply a violation of football sensibility, as Tom Waddle would put it. Sure Denver is winning games but their ability to play defense and run the ball has A LOT to do with that. Instead the meatballs make out Tebow to be a "winner". It is more of a frustration with unintelligent football fans and/or commentary than anything to do with Tebow himself. At least that is how I see it.
  20. Cutler and Forte should pull a Code Red on Barber.
  21. True but if Barber doesn't run out of bounds, they would have had like 20 seconds or whatever.
  22. 7th??? Um...isn't it more like 5th right now?
  23. Marion the Barbarian! =D>
  24. Based on the last 3 weeks I think Jay Cutler should be the NFL MVP. No, Peyton Manning doesn't count because he has not played a single game this season. This is just a night and day difference without Jay. It is like going from modern technology back to the Neanderthal days.
