  1. So when does Purdue play this weekend? Not before Tom embarrasses IU some more. Tell him to stop tanning, buy some clothes that fit, stop clapping, and stop snorting coke. I'm so embarrassed by our 27-8 season, I can hardly put on my IU gear in public. True story. It's the fact that IU fans aren't embarrassed by him that's telling. I think the fact that Purdue just got swept by IU and might not beat them again anytime soon, that is a lot more telling.

  3. I've always argued he has had talent. This year he had Jordan Taylor. He did a superb job. I've just always assumed he commits a series of blood sacrifices on the tombs of Mayan chiefs to get the other guys to play well. Kind of like when Bobby Knight did the same crap every year? Contrary to popular belief, Knight's good teams actually had solid talent. Once he decided fishing & hunting was more important and left recruiting to Dan Dakich, that was his downfall.

  6. I would have thought his 2008 team that won the Big Ten regular season and postseason titles was his best job imo.
  7. Wisconsin is like the new Purdue. Cool regular season team, one hell of a dog in March. They lost to a team that lost 2 times all year by 1 point. Not the end of the world. That isn't really the point. For all the success Bo has had, Wisconsin has only advanced past the round of 16 once under his watch. This team was one of his least talented and he did one of his best coaching jobs this year. Go cheer for your clapping troll of a coach. I thought every team he coached is his least talented team since he always has the same group of faceless ghouls playing for him. :-k

Dick Bennett coached Wisconsin to more Final Fours than Bo Ryan in like half the time. Just sayin...

  11. Bunch of undead heathen chucking bastards.
  12. Right. They made a fair offer, Matt chose not to take it. So for him to get pissed at every dollar they spend on filling out the roster, well that is a Matt Forte problem not a Chicago Bears problem. What, the Bears are supposed to cower in fear and not carry on the business of filling out the roster out of fear of the wrath of Matt Forte?
  13. Forte has done a ton for this team, yet every single offseason the Bears have brought in a FA RB and paid him more money. Bringing in Kevin Jones when Forte was a rookie was a non-issue. Paying a bunch of money to Chester Taylor was understandable after Forte came off a down year after 2 years of a lot of touches. Bringing in Marion Barber to do short-yardage was a little slap in the face, but something Forte could overlook. Now they brought in a 4th RB in 4 years. Bush is guaranteed 7 Mil. Forte is only guaranteed 7.7Mil. Sure it's a lot of money, but this is the NFL. Forte blows out his knee this year, it's likely he'll never seen 7.7Mil the rest of his career. Disrespectful is too strong of a word that gets thrown out too much by athletes, but it is a slap in the face when your team keeps paying guys off the street more money than you are making at your same position. Bush is getting $7 million guaranteed, yes. The Bears offered Forte $15 million guaranteed. So they should not spend any money on backups just because Forte left that money on the table?

  15. McDaniels is back in New England, that could be one possible source of influence.
  16. There are rumors that Tebow is in the process of being traded to the Patriots.
  17. Having actually watched that game, yeah it feels like Purdue should have won.
  18. Exactly, that was dumb. As dumb as Purdue's final possessions. I can't believe Painter drew up the PG overdribbling for 95% of the shot clock for multiple possessions. Yeah that was a special kind of genius right there. Wow.
  19. Hopefully they are saving some of Robbie's blood for Da Bum.
  20. Yeah I don't know. He did actually go after the ball. He hit the ball, he fouled him but it wasn't flagrant. The NCAA is run by Roger Goodell I guess.
  21. Yeah I don't know. He did actually go after the ball.
  22. Robbie Hummel dedicated this game to Da Bum. True story.
  23. Purdue up 8-0 on Kansas? Uh...
  24. At least Robinson doesn't have to worry about Kelsey Barlow's nuts in his face. :-" I wonder how many times Sullinger had to rinse to get rid of that flavor? Man that was an awesome dunk. Gone from the team 10 days later. Has pu been affected much by his departure? Are they better/worse/the same since he's been gone? They're less talented but he was divisive in the locker room. Ryne Smith, one of our three Seniors called it addition by subtraction. He was our best on ball defender and I think he was third in scoring. We're down to 10 scholarship players (well, a walk-on has one but he never plays) and a redshirt freshman Anthony Johnson has picked up his minutes. I've heard Ryne Smith is kind of a d-bag though. I mean I can understand Barlow's shenanigans could be distracting but at the same time, I think having his talent on the roster would only help Purdue's chances. Purdue did kind of rally together when that happened so...I dunno. But it did hurt their depth.
