  1. At least Robinson doesn't have to worry about Kelsey Barlow's nuts in his face. :-" I wonder how many times Sullinger had to rinse to get rid of that flavor?
  2. I feel dirty for thinking it but I kind of hope Purdue wins. :-k Now the Purdue Rivals guy is saying Marcius will start. 6' 9" 260lbs of hack-a-Robinson. That makes more sense. Let that goon do what he does best, goon it up and hack the crap out of Robinson. B1G is 9-1 right now, it would be cool to be 10-1 with 5 teams in the Sweet Sixteen.

  4. Of course I tune over from the blowout basketball games and just miss the 1st goal. :P
  5. Why? It's pretty easy considering what a despicable human being he is. yeah, the terrible rick majerus, i hear you there Read this, then come back to me after you throw up: http://deadspin.com/5439875/ahole-coach-digest-special-rick-majerus-edition Awesome.
  6. Really? I would love to see that. I guess Hollowell would get his minutes? That would be my guess.
  7. He's still on scholarship. He's working to return next year and is evidently improving. I'm assuming he'll be back. If you're asking me if I expect him to ever play and be a factor again, then my answer would be no. I heard that Mo actually practiced a bit with the team in Portland. The kid has an outstanding work ethic and I don't think all these injuries have crushed his spirit at all. Whether he will be the same player or not, I have no idea. But he is busting his tail to get back to 100%. Oh, for sure. He seems like a great kid and has worked his behind off to return. You have to admire that. But, realistically, anything he provides on the court for IU from here on out has to be considered unexpected. It's hard for me to forget how painful it was to watch him hobble around trying to play last year -- and now having another injury to rehab from, well, you can place me in the extremely dubious category. Hope I'm wrong, obviously. If nothing else, I figure he could possibly supplant Roth as our "zone buster" from 3 point range.
  8. He's still on scholarship. He's working to return next year and is evidently improving. I'm assuming he'll be back. If you're asking me if I expect him to ever play and be a factor again, then my answer would be no. Just looking at scholarship situation. I don't want to get into the whole 'Creaning' thing but IU is at 15 or 14 if Roth is gone, right? I actually think Roth is a pretty useful role player but it seems like a lot of IU fans want him gone. Jurkin to prep school if Zeller stays? Roth is completing his Master's degree this spring so I don't think it is even possible for him to come back nor I do think he intends to come back next season. There is talk that Christian Watford intends to go pro and that he had that plan in place since before the season. Do I think that would be a wise decision? No, but allegedly Christian and his family are committed to that plan.

  10. Smart is going to coach circles around Crean but IU's got more talent. Should be a good game. I think IU will win, but I picked against VCU every time last year and was wrong. This was damn near true until the 14:00 mark-give or take- of the second half. VCU missed a ton of shots after that, but Smart got in his own way, imo. They had 57 points at that time, only to score 4 more the rest of the way. He obviously knows his team better than I do, but with 5:00 or so left, he called a timeout (with a 6 or 7 point lead) after IU turned it over on a held ball on a Zeller shot attempt. I thought for sure he was prepping his guys for one last full court blitz to put the game away. Instead, they continued to run clock and put up contested shots, effectively killing all momentum. IU stole this one. You can't blame Smart for all the bricked open shots or below 50% FT shooting. He did take his foot off the gas too early it seemed. Woulda coulda shoulda.... How do you think you guys will do against Kentucky? I still predict an IU Final 4 as a sign of the apocalypse. Man I can't sleep so...I know the UK fans are going to expect a revenge blowout or whatever. I do think Indiana can hang with UK again. Whether they can beat them again or not, well I would not bet on that. But I think IU will go into that game with no fear and compete hard. I could see it being a game that is close for 30+ minutes with UK pulling away for a 8-10 point win. Or, yeah maybe they do blow our doors off. From a fan standpoint, I'm definitely happy now just to "be there".
  11. Well at least now Shaka will be in the habit of feeling how it is to lose to Indiana. :hello:
  12. Me too. I picked this upset in all my brackets.
  13. I don't really understand it at all. I think this is a great matchup for IU. Let them press all game, IU should get plenty of open 3's and a few Cody dunks in transition. Now if we totally crap our pants against the press and turn the ball over, yeah it could be an ugly game. Or if we go all Kansas and shoot like 10% from downtown.
  14. Now all I can think of is the early 90's Atlanta Falcons.
  15. That Lehigh-Colorado Sweet 16 game is gonna be tight.
  16. Nice pass Irish. Dude just randomly heaves it out of bounds.
  17. That and they just don't have any skill whatsoever outside of maybe McCallum. Those other guys on Detroit's team just look like the proverbial bulls in the china shop.
  18. That would also be bomb shelter worthy, yes.
  19. Finally some ND talk! =D> Andy already gave up on his team. *sad face*
  20. Told you so. Hater. :P Michigan State is scoring pretty easily inside. Hope that stops. On the flipside though LIU is getting inside and getting fouled a lot. I really hope they make a game of it because I want a 16 seed win really, really bad. Oh I have zero faith that Brooklyn can actually win but they aren't out of the game yet. Actually this Detroit-Kansas game has my curiosity...McCallum Jr is a heck of a player. Detroit is hanging with KU so far.
  21. Told you so. Hater. :P
  22. Do they get to hang a banner for that? :-k No, but to be fair, all have occurred since IU won a championship... IU went to at least one Final Four during that streak. But hey, I'm impressed. :hello: You probably cheered for st. Mary's you degenerate! Yeah. lol.

  24. Do they get to hang a banner for that? :-k
  25. If Brooklyn beats MSU then I'm going to start building a bomb shelter. Not seeing much evidence that that will happen. I'm not saying I believe it will happen, I'm just sayin. MSU is only up 25-21 right now.
