    Yep. As evidence I present the fact that through the first half of one of the biggest USA soccer games in 4 years there are only like 2 pages of content, even from you soccer guys. Because there's nothing to talk about!!! Sport is a snooze fest 98 percent of the time. I hate soccer so I'm going to crap on a thread about soccer! Edgy!

    My cubicle neighbor was complaining today about how if the roles were reversed (race-wise obviously) oh it would be a different story and how Sterling was baited into those remarks. So yeah, at least with Facebook I can block things I don't want to see or hear. Not so much at work. :stickman:

    A team can rebuild without sucking this badly for 3 years in a row. As far as improvement next year, yeah I mean every season we think next year has to be better. At this rate, it isn't getting there. And given the ongoing delays with the renovations at Wrigley I think that timeline for attempting to be competitive is just being pushed back further and further. Like I said in my previous post, for whatever reason, I was fine with it the last two seasons. There was some crap we had to do to get this organization going in the right direction. But to almost feel like we suck even worse now than we did then is just not acceptable. It's b/c the FO is obsessed with draft picks and that they are choosing to not be successful in the big FA market. This tells me it's a financial thing and the purse strings are really tight due to ownerships debt structure. Either way, it sucks to be a Cubs fan today more so than any time in history, as crazy as that sounds. Maybe it's because I'll never turn my back on Theo, but I won't blame him. I love him too much. The people who hired him? Yeah, I'll put it all on them. I don't really blame Theo & Jed, I don't think they anticipated things being this way.
