  1. I'm really glad that my expectation of Purdue this year was so low that I'm not even shocked by this. Down 16 in the second half they came back and won somehow. I'm going to go ahead and pick BC in the challenge this week. I tuned into that game on my computer about the time Purdue took their first lead with 24 seconds left. Guess I jinxed it, thank me later. :P
  2. 16-1. :-"
  3. He is being integrated into this point-forward type of role but I don't think he handle is good enough to justify it at this point.
  4. I see a lot of promise in this thread. Please continue.
  5. I think Brady threw that ball expecting to get the call.
  6. Kuechly tackled Gronk, of course there was no play on it He didn't tackle him, he merely re-directed his movement! lol. Now ESPN is going to replay it over and over like the Zapruder film.
  7. IU opening this game in the Mike Davis CT3 offense. Is it Bracey Wright bobblehead night? At least getting inside a bit more now.
  8. Um, you left out the IU-LIU game. :P Haha, didn't Crean say it would be a 'good test'? I would not be surprised if he did. 8-)
  9. Um, you left out the IU-LIU game. :P
  10. Finally IU finds a team that might be just as bad or worse at defense as us! \:D/
  11. Took a leak next to Tom Crean in a restroom at Banker's Life Fieldhouse (no he didn't peak like a weirdo). Almost walked into Phil Jackson in downtown Portland back in 2000. He was in his own little Zen world just taking a leisurely walk. Waited for a plan seated near Ted Marchibroda at the Indy airport. Exchanged words with Bob Knight once while at IU. I used to work in the basement of Assembly Hall. Was walking out with a buddy one day as Bob was walking in. He was decked out in fishing gear. Bob said "how are you boys doing?" Responded "okay coach". Epic story, right? Played a pickup game with Keith Smart once. He was on the other team and no I did not even attempt to guard him. He hit a few jumpers. Saw Roy Firestone at Assembly Hall when he was visiting campus to interview Coach Knight (I think it might have been around the time after that Neil Reed tape came out). I went to the World's Largest Outdoor Cocktail Party twice, got autographs from Shane Matthews, Garrison Hearst and Dan Patrick. Kevin Butler was also signing but he was gone by the time I got to the tent. :(
  12. One undefeated team left in the NBA. :-"
  13. Somewhere erik is crying into a bowl of sausage gravy.
  14. I don't care how it happened, this win keeps the Bears in a good position. 3-way tie for first in the NFC North with identical division records. Jay possibly back next week. Defense still concerns me obviously. But this was a huge win.
  15. http://deadspin.com/is-richie-incognitos-dad-blasting-jonathan-martin-on-m-1457997230?utm_campaign=socialflow_deadspin_twitter&utm_source=deadspin_twitter&utm_medium=socialflow
  16. Pacers 2-0, woot woot! \:D/
  17. Defenders are left with no choice but to hit guys in the knees because they can't headhunt? That doesn't make any sense.
  18. I'm not sure if Tucker is the problem. It's just Emery and mostly Angelo left us with an aging defense that hit it's peak already. Agree. I wish Tucker would make better adjustments but I'm not sure you can adequately judge him when nearly half the (yes, admittedly aging) starters are out. I just don't know what he's actually doing that's of value. The whole carry on Lovie's scheme thing was nice, but it's not going to work to have one of your primary leaders do nothing but follow a dead regime. So far he just seems like a non-entity to me, and I'd like something more. At this point it feels like he hasn't had any impact to speak of. The injuries do not help but I felt like this defense was weak before the injury bug started to bite.
  19. I saw enough bad defense in Ann Arbor yesterday, this game today was just pissing in my wounds. [expletive] sake. #-o
  20. Making my first trip to Ann Arbor this week! \:D/
  21. Yep. It's so much worse living here when the fans are so obnoxious about it because they have nothing else going on in their lives. They can't watch Hee Haw re-runs anymore?
  22. Stop it. You are going to make Robbie Hummel cry and when Robbie Hummel cries, Da Bum eats more chili and from that point you are just asking for trouble from a butterfly effect of bad gas.
  23. I'd take that in a heartbeat, no question.
  24. I agree with this. It is a reflex not a planned response.
  25. The Bum must be gripping his bowl of chili rather tightly right now.
