    That's awesome. I wish I had an older relative with that kind of memory of positive historical Cubs moments (positive in that they made the World Series). I just have a couple that bitch about 1969 all the time If things do end up working out under Theo and we win one, I hope he is around to see it. That would be awesome. He keeps asking me when they will be good again. Preaching patience to a man his age doesn't play as well. :wink:

    Today my dad turned 83. I hung out with him to watch the game on the dish. He actually remembers quite well the 1945 World Series. Not much more to say but he has always hated the Yankees and one of his fondest memories is watching a Yankees-White Sox game at old Comiskey and seeing a hungover Mickey Mantle lose a ball in the sun...he enjoyed that a lot. Go Cubs.

    Usually when Stern comments on something he means business. Anderson officially suspended for Game 6. Def. the right move. Anderson should've been ejected in the last game and probably be suspended for Game 6 as well. I like the energy he brings for the Heat and being an enforcer, but the dude is just too wild and goes too far at times for no freakin' reason. What was the point with pushing Hansbourgh? Seems like he's getting crazier as the playoffs goes on. All that ink is being slowly absorbed into his brain.
