  1. I think I remember glancing at the bottom line as SMU was bringing it up on their last possession and saw that they had several (I think 4) timeouts left. Perhaps they were trying to catch UCLA off guard because it seemed like a lot of guys were expecting a replay. They still probably should have called a TO once they brought it up and UCLA was in position. For sure. Plus the kids were all going nuts over the goal tend call. Why not call TO and give them a chance to regain their composure? Maybe Larry Brown was channeling his inner Dusty Baker there.
  2. i mean, isn't that ball clearly above the rim? is this some sort of terrible angle? When I look at that screenshot, it looks like the ball had sailed just beyond the rim.
  3. From the overhead replay from the camera above the goal, it definitely looked like the ball was touched while over the cylinder.
  4. If the ball totally misses the rim, it is not a goal-tend at any level. Otherwise grabbing an air ball is a goal-tend. But the replays I watched were too close to call and looked like the ball had a chance of hitting the rim.
  5. That was epic, one of the best endings I've seen. I yelled down goes Baylor and then everyone in the office realized I was watching via streaming... Freaking n00b. :P Of course, I've had these first two days of the tourney off 7 of the last 8 years. Seniority at work for the win!
  6. That was epic, one of the best endings I've seen.
  7. These 14 seeds have been tough as nails so far today.
  8. Oh well. I'm sure our soft, confusing junk defenses along with our expertly executed offensive scheme will carry us through next weekend in Chicago.
  9. :ninja:
  10. The boo birds are out now, lol.
  11. CREAN AND CRIMSON BABY!
  12. IU makes 18 three-pointers tonight, new school record. Next up, Purdue.
  13. Yeah, I think Crean has done a good job with this team. He doesn't really know what to do with NBA caliber bigs anyways.
  14. Hackey Arena *cough* Nearly his entire offensive game is based on pushing off and his defensive game is all about the flop. Just like Shaq back in the day, he is difficult to properly officiate due to his stature.
  15. I feel inclined to crop that pic and use it as a new avatar, lol.
  16. Hackey Arena *cough*
  17. IU spanks Maryland to move into a tie with Wisconsin for the conference lead. Maybe Crean is better off with no player over 6'7? :clapping:
  18. Recent struggles notwithstanding, the Bulls will be a serious threat in April, May and possibly June if they get back in good health. Noah sure seems like he is struggling with injuries right now though. That always seems to be the thing with the Bulls, actually getting to the playoffs with everyone healthy. Hasn't happened since the Rose MVP season? Atlanta is really 34-8?
  19. I believe that was the first time Indiana has won in Champaign since the Eric Gordon's one and only season. 4-1, 14-4 is pretty impressive given our lack of any legitimate front-court depth. I'm glad Hartman didn't get Creaned, he has been a very useful player this season.
  20. SEC is just killing it today.
  21. Gotta love those WR screens though!
  22. He has a silky smooth mid-range jumper.
