  1. This is a clutch game for the Bears to lose. 0-17 or bust.
  2. At least there is football season oh wait I'm a Bears and IU fan nevermind. Um, basketball when?
  3. Just a boring health issue. Meh.
  4. Fire everyone. Burn it it all the ground.
  5. Cashing checks
  6. Sounds like a good thing I cannot watch this game. Listening to the radio broadcast is painful enough.
  7. The two losses to the Reds over the weekend felt like they should have devastated me, but not really. And now we have a 2 game winning streak. This team just continues to consistently win games. I'd sure love a big 6-7 game winning streak this week, but if not, I am confident they will keep grinding out the series wins.
  8. It was nice of the Cardiac Cubs to have a chill win today, lol. 🙂
  9. I agree it would not seem like a Poles move at all. I suppose if one is throwing darts at the wall they could try and connect Eberflus being in Indy and wow maybe he would really want JT on the team but.....eh. I don't really think so. The amount of capital the Colts want just seems like a total non-starter.
  10. Who the hell is Destin Adams? lol
  11. Fellow IU alum here. 5 wins seems like a lofty goal but one can dream. The last two seasons have been absolutely brutal after 2019 and 2020 gave me hope.
  12. True
  13. Being good in August is nice change of pace. Keep the train moving!
  14. At this rate, you could have the Big Ten conference championship game be the new Rose Bowl lol.
  15. All the catchers belong to us. Just fill the entire roster with catchers.
  16. Started to read but got stuck on a paywall.
  17. I generally consider the more successful years under the Tribune to be 1984, 1989, 1998, 2003, 2004, 2007, 2008 (I know years like 1993, 1995 and 2001 fall into your swagging). 1993 was meh, 1995 was exciting when they won like 8 in a row at the end to get into playoff contention, 2001 felt great until the bottom dropped out in August/September. Under Ricketts, sucked ass 2010-2014 then 2015-2017 were the best consecutive years of Cubs baseball that any of us will ever see in a lifetime. NLCS 3 years in a row and a World Series title. For the Tribune years, it felt like the good years were spread out quite a bit and almost dumb luck while with Ricketts, they did the whole suck on purpose thing, brought in Theo and then we had that run and at the time, I thought the Cubs were positioned to be that good for a long time instead of fading back into a mediocre state of existence. I don't think the current ownership gives that much of a horsefeathers now. The 2016 Cubs will be like the 1985 Bears in like 20-30 years, at least I am old enough to have seen both championships so I guess it isn't that bad eh? lol
