  1. He OPS+'ed 136 in 2006, with a .911 OPS while having a 40/40 season. If Dustin Pedroia's 2008 was MVP caliber, Soriano's 2006 damn sure was too. I'm getting pretty sick of all this bitching about Soriano. People just can't seem to get the idea that complaining about someone doesn't matter. It doesn't change anything. He has the contract, so we have him for another couple of years. Might as well support him while he's here. You and me both. Yes his contract is bad. It was bad when he signed it. It is bad now. Oh well. It is what it is. He has produced in his first two seasons here and while his 3rd season has been rocky I am willing to bet he gets those numbers back up there by September.
  2. Good Soriano appears to be back. \:D/
  3. Uh oh somebody is heating up again! \:D/
  4. If Soriano gets red hot again at the right time, it could certainly help end that postseason losing streak....yeah yeah we gotta get their first I know that. #-o
  5. Aramis double play. Great way to waste 1st & 2nd with nobody out. :banghead:
  6. Oh boy thank god ESPN had their daily Brett Favre update.
  7. You obsession with Soriano is frightening.
  8. Thompson just said some not very nice words to his glove.
  9. Well not what I had in mind but hey I'll take it. :good:
  10. Bradley can recoup some good will here.
  11. Not quite the same thing but Kerry Wood was robbed of a no hitter in 1998 because of Kevin Orie booting a ball and it was called a hit.
  12. Maybe I have drank too much beer (I have) but when I first read this thread title I thought Francouer found Jesus.
  13. I can't imagine he is anywhere near 100% to be pitching this poorly on a consistent basis. A bad start here and there, it happens. But this is happening way too often now.
  14. I mean seriously that was a line drive shot that left the park.
  15. Agreed. I mean holy bleep the man is on fire.
  16. Let's beat these guys 15-1 today and really make the Brewers fans feel bad. :stickman:
  17. Uh oh, if he starts hitting on a consistent basis again does that mean we can start an "I told you so" thread to counter the one currently in Cubs Discussions? :hello:
  18. No doubt. They would be served better by exploiting the window between the end of the NBA/NHL season and the beginning of the NFL season. Heck I got so bored today I actually watched part of a CFL game.
  19. C'mon Sam, the legend shall continue to grow!
