And in most cases, you need two big-ticket guys (or at least a 1b big-ticket guy). We only need 1 more then. To me Rose is big ticket right now. Imagine what he would be with Bosh. I agree that Rose can be considered a big-ticket kind of player. If he ever learns how to get to the line consistently, I think he can average a pretty efficient 25 points per game. Still need that other big player though. Rose will start getting to the line consistently once he starts getting the same calls all the other "stars" do in the league. Why it hasn't happened yet is beyond me.

While Atlanta may be red hot, Im not sure how much of a statement is made with Atlanta being on the backend of a back to back after a hard fought game with the Celtics last night. A good win sure, but I don't think any statement was made.

Ha good luck with that Ben. $6-$7 million with another 3-4 in incentives and a mutual option on a second year sounds about right to me. Sounds to me he wants 10mil guaranteed plus incentives -

He'd be dumb to turn pro. Im not sure hes a 1st round pick right now, maybe Im wrong, but in my opinion hes not. He disappears way to often, and gets lazy way to often. Isnt Abrams coming in next year? Or is he more of a SG than PG? Plus I think DJ could handle the point come next year.

This isnt really about the Blackhawks, but thought Id share it anyway. I went to my 1st hockey game tonight in Peoria. The Riverman played Rockford, and won in a shootout. Ive got to say, I had a damn blast and Im not a hockey fan at all. I've always heard that watching hockey live was a lot better, and damn so much excitement. Some good fights, some good goal tending, just a really good time. Also #19 on the Ice Hogs, his name was Allu(sp) or something like that. Wow talk about an instigating little prick. Within 10 mins of the 2nd period he had 1 Riverman by the neck, and was put in the penalty box, and then started an awesome fight 5 mins after getting out of the penalty box. He came off the bench when they were switching lines, and skated for about 5 secs, dropped his gloves, and charged after 1 of the Riverman, who in turn, kicked his ass! I will be going back for sure.
