There is really zero reasoning for this line of thought. Illinois has a better resume than Va Tech and others, and to keep them out because they dont want 6 Big Ten teams in, is well, pretty [expletive] ignorant. Also, why is Minny suddenly so safe? They beat a Purdue team who has beaten nobody without Robbie Hummel, and finished below Illinois in conference, and really didnt play anybody worth a [expletive] outside of conference. Illinois has better wins than Minny, and an overall better resume, but suddenly because Minny beat Michigan St(who has been struggling like crazy) and a Hummel less Purdue team, they should be in? The fact that they beat Illinois is meaningless also, as its happened numerous times in years past a team made it in over a team they lost too.

Agreed, and add in the fact Illinois has only been blown out twice(both to OSU) should hold some weight. They were in every game they played this year, no matter the competition. They deserve in over teams like Va Tech, Mississippi State, Utah St, etc...

Va Tech has a strength of schedule in the 130s no [expletive] way they deserve in over Illinois. Lunardi is the only one Ive seen with Illinois out. CBS guys had us in yesterday, and said Va Tech was the last team in, but that was before the Utah St game last night.

I think Illinois and Minny deserve in over Va Tech. Va Tech has a strength of schedule of 132 thats the only reason they have the record they do. Give Illinois that type of schedule and they arent 19-14. Same goes for Minny.

They're the 3rd team out now according to Lunardi. Really bad situation for them. It's not cool if VaTech gets in and they don't, IMO. Yea I dont see how Va Tech is supposedly in according to Lunardi, but Illinois isnt. Seth Davis and Greg Anthony had us in, and both said if someone else takes an at large bid, Va Tech is the next one out. Both said Illinois is in solid in their minds.

Well hope this is one of the times Lunardi is wrong, because apparently he has Va Tech, Minny, Florida, and Washington as his last 4 in, with Illinois being left out.
