  13. Turner with 4, I guarantee he doenst get another foul called on him the rest of the game. Hightower doesnt have the balls to do it

  15. So I guess its time to go into full LETS GO PURDUE mode!
  16. For you Illini fans, Myers Leonard will be playing on TV at 8 pm tonight in the state tourney in Peoria. Check your local listings for channel, but on DirectTV here its channel 26 Oh and my God I about had a heart attack in those final 3 mins. Hughes hit some ridiculous shots, especially the 3 over Cole from the top of the key. No idea how that went in.
  17. I've seen more elite DE's last into their mid 30's than elite RB's.... Of course he'll last longer than the RB. But he'll also be paid more for a longer period of time where his contract could be an issue in the last few years. Chester's deal is basically just a ton of money up front in an uncapped year. Individually it's also more because the biggest questions on him are effort, work ethic and consistency which would figure to be more pressing as you get to your mid-30's. Only the 1st 3 years of Peppers deal is guaranteed. I think he will be able to be productive during the 3 guaranteed years, and if his performance falls after that, you cut him no big deal.
  18. Still have to do something with the Oline
  19. NBC Chicago reporting 6 yr 72 mil with 1st 3 years guaranteed
  20. And you can cut him with very little ramifications I'm not saying it's a bad deal, I just think that's a lot to pay for an old backup RB. But he hasnt taken the beating most 30 yr old RB's have either. I just have lot less problem with these kind of deals in the NFL the way their contracts are structured.
  21. And you can cut him with very little ramifications
  22. http://www.blogdownchicagobears.com/2010/03/05/its-official-bears-land-julius-peppers-chester-taylor/ Peppers is signed 6 yr deal 12 mil a yr
  23. Sun Times reporting Peppers signing is "imminent"
  24. So after this year its 3 yr 5.5 million deal. Pretty damn good deal
  25. I would LOVE that draw for the Illini
