  1. Im going to next Fridays game vs Dbacks, anybody know where I can get a "Fire Lou" t shirt? Thought about having one made at www.strangecargo.com but if I do, I want something more than just Fire Lou, and Take Hendry with him. Any clever ideas?
  2. And just watch, he will still get boo'd on the 1st out he makes in Wrigley next week.
  3. Well, it was an inside pitch, so you tell me: mistake or design? I was in the kitchen Good hitters make pitchers pay for mistakes they make. More hits/hr's come off mistake pitches than off good pitches. I don't understand why you are doing this with Soriano. Last year pitchers made mistakes, and he'd still do nothing with them. Soriano is a mistake type hitter, and thats perfectly fine as most pitchers aren't going to go a whole at bat without making some kind of mistake. Its taking advantage of those mistakes that makes good hitters.
  4. And yet, people still have been acting like hes been horrible this year.
  5. I swear, if I hear 1 more [expletive] person talk about Zambrano's supposed struggles this year, Im going to break something. He had a horrible opening day start, and since hasn't allowed more than 3 runs in a game. Hes had some high pitch counts which sucks, but hes gave his team a chance to win every damn game except for opening day.
  6. So Careless, that HR from Soriano was off a RH pitcher. Im sure that was all on the pitcher and not on Soriano though right?
  7. Good to see its not just Cub fans who are ignorant fucks.
  8. I have a hard time thinking that considering hes been over 110 pitches in each of his last 2 outings.
  9. True, but the question is: Is he better than Silva or Gorzellany this year? The sample size is small, but so far, he isn't. Unless you go with a six-man rotation, somebody has to move to the pen. Sample size is really really small, and Z's career speaks loudly over Gorz/Silva.
  10. Moving Demp to the pen would definitely be a idiotic move this management would do. I really can't wait till they are all gone
  11. Haha even at the NBA Draft lottery too huh Rais! :-" I don't know what you're talking about. 8-[ Haha your quick delete finger saved you :-))

  13. Oh yea that reminds me, Fire Hendry too.
  14. Zambrano bunting lol. Lou needs to go
  15. Lous a [expletive] moron. That is all. Fire him and make him take Grabow with him
  16. Man, I know its years away from actually being a possibility, but the thought of a Castro/Lee/B. Jackson middle of the field is pretty damn intriguing. Of course we have said this before, but we can dream damnit.
  17. Who exactly are you people advocating benching Colvin for? Byrd, whos 6 for his last 9? Soriano, whos 9 for his last 21? Fuku who's sat the last 2 games due to facing a lefty?
  18. Ya but its under the drug testing policy and CBA to allow a player suspended for PED's to start serving it immediately, DL or no DL.
  19. Heres the thing though, do you really think the Cubs would bench Theriot? Because moving him to 2nd base right now makes zero sense as that platoon has been pretty damn good. I think the only way the Cubs bring up Castro is if the 2nd base platoon starts sucking, because Theriot is still a media darling, and Id be shocked if the Cubs would actually bench him, and moving him to 2nd right now can't be justified.
