    Even if true, that's a bit harsh, isn't it? I've never heard Barrett speak and thought to myself, "he's a total moron." See 2nd inning of tonights game as prime example of Barret being dumb as a box of rocks

    I'm probably going to go ahead and buy MLB.TV... is Premium worth the extra money? well it seemed like half the time they would just tell me i couldn't watch the game unless i bought premium... so i eventually got it. now i can't even watch the game having bought it. What about the picture quality? And what did Barrett/DeRosa do that was so dumb?? Derosa on 2nd grounder to SS and he decides to try for 3rd. Gets thrown out by a mile, and Barret was picked off 2nd.

    I agree the power loss is a big issue. I really dont understand how Lee, Soriano, and hell even Jones, cannot suddenly hit the ball out of the park. Its getting too deep into the season to keep saying its early the power will come.

    That seems a bit extreme. Its cheating, cheaters get suspended right? That's pretty extreme. Should we suspend a hitter who pretends an inside pitch hits them? What about an outfielder who tries to sell that he caught the ball when he really trapped it? I'm not upset at all about what Hopper did, it falls under gamesmanship to me. I wasnt saying I thought he should be suspended, just saying how some people could think he deserves it.

    Hahaha, this really happened? It's so crazy it has to be true. Yup down 3-0 and Lou goes to the pen and brings in Eyre. The first batter he gets to face is Cabrera. Lou conceded this game early, and had he not given up by bringin Eyre in, the game could have been tied. Also in the 9th inning with 2 runners on Lou brings in Pagan to face the lefty, and the Marlins go to a righty, and turn Pagan around. Instead of Lou then using Ward to pinch hit in the most critical pinch hit spot in the game.....he leaves Angel in to K, and Ward never sees the field.

    Ill say it again, if Lou is using Eyre just to get him off the team, and knowing it hurts their chances at winning he needs to be fired.

    I dont think he was saying the Cubs should have went after Lee. I think it had to do with the players who tear up at Wrigley only to come here and suck philosophy.

    Im sorry lol have at it cubs...funny how they lose when the brewers lose...i bet once the brewers start winning again, so will the cubs it is going to be a long season And odds are, come September, they'll still be in contention. Yup just to torture us

    You think its fate? I think its baseball Gods way of torturing us Cubs fans in a new way. Usually we suck are are out of it in June and we deal with it. Now this year we suck but hes goin to make us pay attention all year saying" I know our offense will get going," or "our bp will get better and we will be able to overtake first place", when in reality we will probably just barely miss out, and once again having been tortured for an entire season, instead of just 2 months. :cry:
