The Cubs should rent DLee out to the Red Sox for the rest of the year. He deserves to be on a good team. Sadly, I could deal with that. A class individual like Lee deserves better than this. And if he asked for a trade, I dont know if I would be angry. Has there ever been a better player on a worse team? Sammy Sosa says hi. So does Ryne Sandberg, Ernie Banks, etc...

Thats what I took from the PC as well. Lou saying he knows what he would do but we wont go into that regarding player personnel. Also saying get some damn players in here that can catch the ball and run the bases.

Seems to me like Lou was definatly calling out Hendry during his PC. Says he knows what he would do, but we wont go into that, and talking about getting some players in here who can catch and hit the ball. -

Sounds like we missed the better of the fights in the clubhouse. So who was Lou just dissing in the press conf? When discussing the struggles of the team, he said I know what I would do, but Ill keep that to myself? Lou starting to get pissed woooooo

The Lakers are not going to trade Kobe. I dont understand why all these sportswriters think its a possibility. If they trade Kobe they set that team back big time. As for that deal suggested, Id prob do it since in it we get to keep our 9th pick as well.

At this point this isnt on Lou. Believe me Lou is to blame for some things, but the baserunning isnt one of them. These guys are making little league mistakes. I just think we have a team of dumbasses. If he gets the credit when they win... Huh? these guys are pros they should know by know when u are on 2nd base and a ball is hit in front of you you dont advance. If Lou or any manager in the game was to try continually going over this, the players wouldnt be paying a bit of attention. They would all be thinking "we know this dumbass come on we are pros". How about benching them?Other than Lee or Aram,the replacement players production wouldn't be much different,possibly even better. Benching who though? Off the top of my head, murton, jones, barret, theriot, derosa, lee, soriano have all made bad base running mistakes. You calling up AAA to play? What message does his non-action send?Stupid baseball like this made Dusty an analyst. No there was plenty more that made Dusty an analyst. The players should know better plain and simple. Lou cant run the bases for them. We dont know that Lou isnt saying anything to them in the clubhouse.

But as for whether it's really his fault, that's open to question. It seems like the only player he calls out is Murton. When has he called out Murton really? The only time I remember Lou calling anybody out so far this year was Ohman, when he was talking about having a pitcher out there throwing 40 foot curveballs lol. Getting picked off last week. Didnt see that so I cant comment on that
