    Wasn't Pagan brought in because a left-hander was on the mound when he was announced, and then Lou didn't want to simply waste him and pinch-hit for the pinch-hitter? Who cares its the 9th inning and you have 2 runners on. You use your best ph in that situation to get the lineup to roll over and get to the top. Who cares if you "waste" Pagan, they wasted Ward by not using our best Ph in the most crucial PH spot. I'm just saying that Lou has used his bench like that for most of the season, and then people get upset when most of the bench is gone during extra innings. I would have pinch-hit Ward there myself, but it seems like most people are very worried about running out of players (which I am not) and using two pinch-hitters for the same spot doesn't help in running out of players. All I know is we have one of the best PH in the game, and he doesnt see the field in the 9th inning rally when the bottom of our order is up. That is unacceptable, and just adds to the list of stupid things Lou has done

    He didn't really answer one question directly. He wiggled out of every question. Where have I heard that before? Yup and it wasnt like the Chicago media asked him some hard pressing questions. So far the media has been easy as hell with Lou. I sure would have liked to seen somebody in the media ask Lou what the hell he was doing yesterday, but nope nothing. Just that Lou said before the game they needed to get Eyre in a game, but nobody came back with, "well do you think it was a good decision to use him in a 1 run game?

    So from todays game we have Lou putting in Eyre once again which ended up being the difference in the game. Also Lou left his best PH on the bench in the 9th and choose to use Angel Pagan instead. Yup

    Do we really want a firesale? Really? I think this is a pretty average team. We're still in the race. We're probably going to be in the race the entire year. The team that wins the division is going to be the one that gets hot in the end. As unimpressive as we are, that could be us. Do you really think we can string together wins? I think this team is going to be streaky all year. If we can get hot at the right time, who knows what can happen. I just think talking firesale when we're almost certainly going to be in it all the way is not a good idea. They cant get that streak goin with wins though, but they sure are good at streaking together crap games.

    I'd rather have Cotts over Eyre and it's not even close. Id rather have a cott over Eyre I'd rather have a cot, so that I can cry myself to sleep when either are pitching. Umm thats what I meant but whatever lol
