  2. Beer Jon, and lots of it
  3. Well Lowell tried getting revenge today by lowering his should into Cano while running to 2nd. It was Albert Belle esque
  4. Oh god please say NOOO to Pruitt. Im a diehard IL fan and hes needs to go back to school. Although his traveling might not get called as much in the NBA lol
  5. http://sports.espn.go.com/espn/columns/story?columnist=wojciechowski_gene&id=2890891&lpos=spotlight&lid=tab1pos1 I find it hard to believe that wojlkjoijoijoij knows Barret had something to do with it, but yet we have never heard this from any Chicago writer. He works for ESPN, but he is a Chicago writer...hes did write Cubs Nation. Yea afer I typed that I forgot about that. Still seems odd this is the first we have heard about it
  6. I doubt it, it would take some balls to do it.
  7. Damn man you are really drunk really early :D

  9. Not trying to hijack this thread into a Pacers thread, but I've been hearing the same thing. Actually, we've all been hearing variations of that deal for awhile now. If I was the Pacers, I'd really insist on the #19 pick being in the deal, but maybe dumping Tinsley would be worth excluding it. I'd want Odom, Bynum and at least Farmar, but would prefer the pick. Who cares about anything in Indiana make your own thread. jk But why in the hell did they hire O'brien? Has he ever won anywhere hes went? I would have thought they could have found somebody a hell of a lot better Well, it's certainly not a sexy hire, that's for sure. He does have a winning NBA record and is a decent enough coach. He also has Celtic ties, which seems to be overly important with Bird running the show. Honestly, I think it's a case of no one really wanting the job. Stan Van Gundy evidently turned it down. The Pacers aren't very good, they don't even have a draft pick this year (a terrible year for that fate) and their best player may be traded this offseason. Not a very appealing situation if you ask me. They likely did about as well as they could. That said, I think they are likely a better team than they showed last season. Not great, but better. Dealing O'Neal for Odom, Bynum and the Lakers pick could infuse them with some young talent in addition to Granger, Williams, Diogu, etc. If I were them, I'd then look to move Odom for another pick/young player. I like Odom, but the Pacers need an infusion of young talent. Oh, this is a Bulls thread you say? Well, in that case I'll throw in my two cents: the Bulls are going to have to bite the bullet and trade one of their core guys to get a big man. Wow didnt realize he had a winning record. Ya their job isnt that appealing right now I agree. I didnt realize they didnt have a pick this year either, that will suck for them. And as for the Bulls trading one of their core for a big man, Im fine with it. Id prefer that its Gordon though.
  10. http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a378/mike_yale/lou.jpg Lol you are everywhere huh

  12. This photo is awesome. I wish I knew how to make an avatar as that would be mine lol.
  13. So after we tie the game up today, Lou brings Ohman in who proceeds to walk the first left handed batter he faces. With Howry warming up in the pen, he leaves Ohman in to face right handed batters. Lou wtf are you doing seriously?
  14. it was pretty good he kicked dirt on the ump bout 4 times threw his hat kicked his hat lol
  15. No. We should kick Piniella's ass. Ya I didnt realize he brought him in to face rightys
  16. Oh wait. I was in the other room, he brought him in to face 3 rightys? You have got to be freaking kidding me?
  17. Maybe somebody will try kicking Ohmans ass now
  18. ERA is a measure of pitching ability, not pitching + fielding ability I know but it just seems since the pitcher made the mistake it makes a little sense. Nice freaking job Ohman jesus
  19. Ok does this make sense...If a pitcher is the one who commits the error, does anybody else think it should count towards his ERA? I mean hes the one that commited the error and had the control over the inning. Maybe Im being crazy but it kinda makes sense doesnt it?
  20. and you've been attending the bruce vilanch school for comedy. I was thinking more in the lines of Carrottop
  21. I know what you are saying TT, but no reason to get greedy when its a pitcher, and you have a guy that just hit moon shot coming up. Its things like that why we lose 1 run games all the time. No reason to make the 3rd out at 3rd by a pitcher
  22. Maybe Santo should work with Soriano, Izturis, Barret, Jones, Murton, and Floyd.
  23. Seriously why in the hell get greedy? Soriano coming up leave Hill at 2nd even when this team does something good they do something stupid
