    Dont worry I added Sheets to my fantasy team today, so he will start sucking. I picked up JJ Hardy awhile back, and he hasnt done squat since. I have Barret and Andruw Jones also. Ya talk bout some guys not living up to their career avg's.

    Oh, come on. I'm getting tired of defending Barrett but this stuff is getting ridiculous. Agreed. I find it hilarious that Hill had a terrible outing and almost everybody is wanting to make excuses for him. If Brenly hadnt brought up the fact of him thinking Hill was tipping his pitches I doubt anyone else here would have said a word about it. Rich sucked today, nobody elses fault, he just sucked. Lets hope he doesnt have many more of these.

    Supposedly Kobe met with Lakers higher ups today, and said he wants traded. ESPN said his 3 preferences are Phoenix, New York, and Chicago. They said there is noway he goes to Phoenix(for obvious reasons) New York doesnt match up salary wise, so that leaves the Bulls. They said expect something to be done by next weeks draft. GET KOBE!

    Just got back from the game. It was a real good game with Peoria winning in the bottom of the 9th on a Jonathon Mota double. Nobody on the Chiefs stood out to me really, but Mota had a really good night going 4-5. Kiker, the pitcher for Clinton, wasnt overly impressive. The umps zone was everywhere. Alot of looking back at him the entire game, and my seats were directly behind home plate, and Im still trying to figure out where the zone was. Cuevas started for the Chiefs and he had a good night, but for being such a big kid(at least he looked big on the field) I never seen him break 89 on the gun. Overall a really good time, with a really good firework show after the game. Chiefs games are a blast.

    That kid was a 1st round pick? Wow I wasnt overly impressed with his stuff. I didnt see him break 88mph all night and the Chiefs got some runners on. Although they looked like the Cubs getting picked off first base by Kiker twice.

    Augie's actually back in the major leagues. He was just called up by Arizona a day or two ago. And I believe hit a homerun!

    I just find it amazing that a catcher who sucks at playing baseball as much as Michael Barret does could be behind the plate for when the pitcher only gives up 1 run. I mean he sucks at D, and cant call a game, so I thought everytime he started the other team was automatic for 3-4 runs. Im shocked I tell ya.

    It's easy to say he should evolve into a ML average hitter overall, but the stats show that he was one of the worst hitters in all of baseball last year. He was actually worse than Izturis by a decent margin, and he certainly has been a worse hitter than Theriot. I'm fine with him playing every day for Iowa, where he can continue to work with Von Joshua and hopefully get back the confidence and discipline that he lost last year. You can shut up about Ryan Theriot. The Riot magic (luck) has worn off and he's simply not good. He's probably a better hitter than Cedeno at this point but doesn't play better defense. Worse than Izturis by a decent margin? He's FIVE runs worse over the course of a full season assuming he got ALL of the starts using Cesar's career .225 EqA and Cedeno's .215 EqA. If you use some PECOTA-adjustment (which you should) Cedeno is a present equal hitter. Those five runs over the course of a season are a WORST CASE scenario and are certainly worth betting for the payout of a player better than Izturis. Izturis is safer, but safe when you're crap like Izturis isn't exactly a good play. Give me the upside of Cedeno. To be honest Theriot and Cedeno are interchangeable in my opinion. You really need to get over yourself.

    The catch he made at 3rd today was a thing of beauty. Ive been very surprised by his D at 3rd base.

    According to this quote, when Aram comes back the plan is for DeRosa to start playing right against Lefties. Im very glad to hear this, as it will give us our best lineup possible. From cubs.com

    I dont like the pitchers we have going in Texas. Lilly and Marquis could be very ugly with the long ball there.

    The Cards went up 4-1 in the 2nd inning only for him to give them all right back. He cant even make it out of the 2nd inning tonight before Larussa has to pull him. I think Kip should start more often for the Cards. This is probably his last start unfortuanatly though.
