No he's been pretty solid and I don't think he's showing any signs of injury. I'm just more concerned with the fact that when he doesn't have good command of his breaking ball or it isn't extremely sharp, he has nothing to fall back on. You do realize his start before the last is when SD took batting practice off him right? Wait... so you're saying that he wasn't awesome against the Padres? No he pitched batting practice very awesome that day. Only problem was that it was during the game

Nobody is glad hes been pitching terrible. But for all the hate Hill has received, the constant excuse making and kissing of Hills ass no matter how he pitches is just as bad.

lol wow comedy at its best It's not comedy. Only Mench and Hall's were hit hard. That is where the comedy is. Foul balls arent killing RIch they dont count for runs, it might be what hes doing with the pitches that arent fouled that could be the problem

I bet if Marquis had this same crap performance you would be saying alot of different stuff what's comical is how everyone buries rich hill when he's been the team's best starter this year. I'll take a guy with a top 10 WHIP in baseball. He's not having a great game today, but the overreaction in this thread is a lot funnier than anything I've written. No its like this every start Hill has. No pitch is bad no ball is hit hard. Its somebody elses fault everytime with you regarding Hill. Its getting pretty close to Hill and Z having the same amount of crap performances. And when you give up 5 runs in the 1st inning, you should be buried for that day

I work 3rd shift and Ive been up since 4 pm yesterday and worked 10 hours in there, so I would gladly take 3 hours of sleep. However my 3 year old son, and the Cubs game are going to put that off for awhile.

Maybe they could have moved him to 7th. Yes you put him 7th or maybe even 6th with Dero batting behind him. Putting a rookie with questionable plate discipline in the 8th slot is not doing him any favors, so sorry no Pie doesnt have to hit 8th.
