You really thought that? Illinois is a solid team with some nice young talent. Problem is, that nice young talent is coached by a mediocre to bad head coach (Zook). I'm not surprised they're winning, but I can see why people would doubt them. It really amazes me that Zook has this label of mediocre to bad coach, when hes been a head coach now for how long? Florida was his 1st head coaching job, and I think its pretty reasonable to expect that he might mess up a little in his 1st job as a head coach. I just think its a little early in his career to say hes a terrible head coach. Hes starting to get talent at U of I now, and it will be interesting to see if hes made a progression as a head coach.
