    Illinois beat up on Minny good to see. Juice actually looked like a Qb, but Im guessing thats more Minnys D than anything. Mendenhall rushed for over 200. Ohio St this weekend, I think we give them a game.

    If you really think this is why Michigan is kicking our butts, please take a seat in the losers section. Not at all however, for the last two weeks I've watched Michigan' opposition get called for holding while they continue to drag defenders to the ground without a call. better get used to it... i've been waiting for it to change for five years; i've just accepted that michigan is going to get the calls and if you want to beat them, you're going to have to overcome that ahhhh stupid navy missing the extra point While I agree with Michigan getting calls, I dont really think Penn State can talk about bad officiating after the ref today decides to not stop the clock when the Purdue WR goes out of bound right in front him today.

    Who's going to be your PG. Duhon? We have to play over half the game normally with Duhon as the point since Kirk cant stay out of foul trouble. Duhons shooting is about on par with kirks, and he handles the ball about as well. Im so tired of seeing Hinrich whine and bitch after every single foul that is called on him. If we were to keep Gordon in a deal involving Kobe, just let him run the point. Kobe would make his job much easier by just being out there on the floor. I'm just glad I'm not the only one who's growing more and more annoyed with Hinrich. Im starting to remember why i hated him when he played for KU

    Kirk Hinrich is a joke. Sure would be nice to see him play more than 25 mins a game, but his ass cant stay out of foul trouble long enough to do so, Then again the way he looked tonight while actually on the court, maybe its best hes on the bench half the game. Id trade Hinrich in a deal for Kobe in a heartbeat.

    Given the makeup of the team, I'd rather Kobe replace Deng than Gordon replace Hinrich. You have to look at the overall composition of the team. We're either going to have Gordon (who sucks at the point and is a defensive nonentity) or Thabo (raw, inexperienced, poor FG%, turnover prone) playing the point. How did Jameson Curry look in preseason? I didnt get to see many games, but isnt he a point? Also you still have Duhon, who can play it adequately. Duhon? JamesOn Curry? That's not a realistic backup plan. I'd really make every effort to hold onto Kirk. I understand about needed to balance salaries, but man. I think you are forgetting its not some slouch we are getting, its the best player in the league. You wont need an All Star pg, just somebody who can basically bring the ball up the court, and not turn it over. well that rules out Duhon And Hinrich also. Its alot easier said than done to find that guy.

    Thats because hes not. Hes a good role player, but isnt an All Star, or difference maker.

However, if giving him up means we get the best basketball player on the face of the earth, then sign me up. You're wrong. His numbers compare favorably to Chauncey Billups. He's the best defender on the team by far, and a good point. He's a better player than Gordon. This team would not be as good without him. Kobe can replace his defense. Kirk is wildly inconsistent on offense from night to night, and he is prone to turnovers himself. I like Kirk, and would wish he could stay and play with Kobe, but Id give him up in a minute for Kobe. You're also trading your team captain. I like Kobe. I want him on the Bulls. I'd give up Deng before Kirk, and Gordon and Thomas before both. You're trading your team captain for a future Hall of Famer, who can replace him at captain. And Dengs upside is far and beyond want Kirks is. You are crazy to trade Deng instead of Kirk.

    Because the Lakers are the one who HAVE to make the deal not the Bulls. The way this has gone, the Lakers arent going to get true value for Kobe,and after last nights booing, its a forgone conclusion Kobe is gone soon.
