  1. In case you havent noticed U of I has some pretty good pro prospects on their team as well. you have two or three, compared to USC having 2 or 3 in their runningback stables alone. it's not comparable. don't pretend it is. Mendenhall, Vontae Davis, Benn, Wilson, Juice, Leman, Wilson, and 2-3 offensive lineman Yeah...you're not being biased. I guess you're including 5th and 6th round talents as pretty good pro prospects. Who in the world is saying Juice Williams is a "pretty good pro prospect" Just you Illinois fans? My lord. The guy can't complete a pass, he's terrible. He's no different than Reggie Ball. You definately would know about being biased in ones opinions
  2. im pretty sure everyone says they shouldnt be there, but of the remaining one loss teams they should be one of the two in it. Ok I hadnt seen it I guess. Why should they be in over Ohio State? Ohio State has better wins than WV. And Ohio States loss is a better loss than WV. This is untrue. South Florida's better than Illinois. Who did Ohio State beat? Random Big Ten crap? The Big East >>>>>>>>>> Big Ten this year. And OSUs nonconference slate didn't make up the difference. SF is better than Illinois? Please they arent even ranked And West Virginia beat random Big East crap. WV non conference is terrible also.

  6. All this talk about Ohio State and Illinois being not very good but yet West Virginia sits at #2 when their best win was Cincinnati?UConn? Ohio State and U of I have better wins than them, but yet Ive seen nobody saying WV shouldnt be in the National Championship game.
  7. I'm sure they didn't realize it was going to be a huge game when they scheduled it. Dallas was supposed to be good and Green Bay decent, but neither one was supposed to be close to this good. Personally, I don't quite understand the hatred for the NFL Network games. It's not like the BTN controversy. The NFL by moving 8 games to Thursday night have actually expanded their audience instead of limited it. Think about what would happen if it was on Sunday instead. It either goes into regional coverage, or it bumps another good game off of national TV. Now there are 6 games that a person can watch instead of 5 (Thursday night, two games at 1:00, 1 game at 4:15, Sunday night, Monday night). It's not like you were seeing these types of games for free and now they require payment. You only get to see a certain number of games in the past without ordering Sunday Ticket (which many people cannot do). Now, there is another avenue to receive more games. Only for people with NFL network though. My apartment complex doesnt allow dishes so Im unable to get the NFL network. The NFL made the NFL network and their ratings were terrible. So what do they do? They decide to put games on the network to try and gain ratings(make money). This is all about the money for the NFL, plain and simple. If this game was on Sunday like it should be, the NFL would have been able to do the right thing and move it to the Sunday night game, thus making it available for everyone to watch. Instead we get Steelers vs the Bengals, yay.
  8. Man I sure am glad one of the most interesting games of the season is on NFL network. Screw you NFL
  9. ILL
  10. I actually see no problem with that statement. Id rather they worked on fixing the offense then hand out multi year deals to a pitcher. Sooner or later you have to let your kids get a chance, and Gallagher, Hart, and Marshall have all shown upside. Thats not even including Prior either. Offense is this teams problem. I think he was referring to the part about Dempster starting. Thats old news isnt it?
  11. Every team that goes into Duke knows they have to be very careful on D or else they will be in foul trouble immediately. It sure would be nice to see Duke play some actual non conference road games at the opposing teams actual homecourt, not at a neutral site.
  12. Its not a coincidence that the best player of the opposing team gets in foul trouble immediatly in almost every game Duke plays, and it has nothing to do with them going after him. God if only the other coaches had the forsight to go after the other teams best players. But, alas ony Coach K in his infinite wisdom has come up with that plan. Oh well maybe I will email Bruce Weber and let him know of this strategy. I didnt say that, bu tthere is no way that with different referees, wisconsin would win this game. See you say that, but you have no proof of that. Is Duke winning big?Yes. Would Wisconsin having their best player on the court make this game different? Probably. Not saying they would be winning, but I dont think it would be out of question to think it may be a 10 point game instead of 20. Thats a big difference there.

  14. Now Duke starting to get some fouls called on them, and Wisconsin cant hit free throws. This game is goin to be a blowout. Another crap performance so far from the Big Ten

  16. Apparently double dribbling is now allowed if you play for Duke
  17. Wiskys best player Hughes picked up two fouls in the first three minutes. Typical 8-5 match up. The opposing teams best player in foul trouble immediatly against Duke? noway that never happens....
  18. Yay the Big Ten gets a win!
  19. Last I heard, yes very much so
  20. Any word yet on if the Wisconsin Duke game is the normal 5 on 5 like most college bball, or is Duke playing 7 on 5 like usual?
  21. Maybe I should have called out IU a little earlier. SInce I did, they have went on a run and taken a 8 point lead. Hooray for the Big Ten.
  22. Good to see the power of the Big Ten, is struggling with a mediocre Georgia Tech team  They are definately not doing anything to help the Big Tens bragging rights.
  23. Great idea. Selling as low as possible is always smart. Almost as smart as spending 14 for a guy on the DL. Who, aside from a poster here, said anything about $14M? There's not a chance in hell he gets that much. Maybe not but to keep putting money into a sinking ship is foolish. If he accepts a high incentive deal fine but any guarantee high money would be a very poor move to make. Why is Prior a "sinking ship"? The guy was hurt, trying to pitch and make comebacks while hurt, so he looked terrible. He has now had surgery on his injury(finally), so he is no sinking ship. Do I think Prior will come back like the Prior of old? Not at first, but there have been far more detailed, and bigger surgeries done on pitchers, than what was done on Prior, who have come back as good or better than they were before.
  24. Id assume Hansborough(meh) would come out but honestly if they Bulls are in the top 5 and all the freshman come out they should take the best player available. They can then use any of Deng, GOrdon, Thomas, Hinrich, to get the big man they need.
