Steve Stones a blowhard Agreed. But it sounded like he was just relaying facts rather than opinions in this case....and for a change. It just pisses me off that he always throws out accusations about stuff, but then says"I cant say anything more". Then dont even bring it up jackass.

I was honestly hoping for more fireworks here. I guess the tone is muted because the Cubs won. Oh well. Yea the Cubs winning, and the board going down probably had an effect on the tone.

Following up on Gaudin getting the win over the weekend when he blew the lead. I thought the official scorekeeper had discretion about giving wins out to a reliever? Wouldnt this have been a perfect time to use this discretion?

In my opinion the smart move would have been to send Marshall to start in AAA and stay stretched out until rosters expand in less than 30 days.

i'm legitimately pissed we dfa's eyre i'm not... he's been pretty lousy since the cubs signed him, so it's really not a loss. See his 2nd half stats last year, and tell me what is lousy about that. the 1.38 WHIP and 5.65 walks per 9 innings? How many runs did he give up? ](*,) Lol I figured you would like that one. I wasnt being serious, but Eyre was lights out in Sept last year, and was pretty good the 2nd half of last year. Yea he may have walked a few but he was hard to hit also, as teams didnt hit higher than .243 against him all 2nd half

Just 1 time Id like the Chicago media to grill Lou on his bullpen usage, just 1 time. They wont though, cause Lou has them all scared to death to question anything he does.

Its also on Howry Lou put him in position to fail. Howry is a Major League pitcher whos job is to get tough rightys out late in the game. Lou screwed up, but its Howrys job to get guys like Carlos Lee out and he hasn't been doing it, so why is he in the game there? not to mention why are you pitching to a very good hitter who crushes against the cubs when you have a pretty lousy hitter behind him? Hey I agree its a bad decision, but Howry gets equal blame as well. Why would you throw a fastball up and over the plate? They both suck
