I understand he's a Cub, but you guys should not be using the term "Jimmy Ballgame" or "Hollywood" after the way you treated him for the last 8 seasons. That's just so wrong. Give me a break I was being funny, but come on. Was he not enemy #1? Cheering Edmonds as a Cub? Got that. But the lovefest? Give me a break. Long gone are the days of "Edmonds is gay, wears eyeliner, etc" I suppose huh? He has been productive as hell for the Cubs what the hell do you really expect? We want to win games, and Jim has helped us do that big time. You seriously cant be that naive to not see this I absolutely expect you to cheer for him. It's just weird to see the lovefest, that's all. Hated probably isn't strong enough of a word for his days in St. Louis. Of course he was hated he was on the rival team of the Cubs, and always seemed to hurt us. I dont see why its so weird to see Cub fans love a guy whos been productive as hell for the Cubs, and the fact hes doing it against the Cardinals, with the Cards paying his salary makes it very very sweet.

Well, seeing how Theriot is the SS, and DeRo hasnt played SS this year, yea it could be bad. Although Cedeno has done pretty decent lately. -

I doubt it. Ryan Flaherty just hit a long HR - second straight day with a HR. Vitters is 0 for 2 with a groundout and a K looking. Damn I was hoping to get over and see him. Think he will start there next year or will he skip Peoria? -

I take it youve given up on Pie? I was never very high on his approach/hitting style. I know he has produced at every level but even in the minors, he is not exactly my kind of player. That said, I'd be glad to see him get a solid shot to play for once, but I'd be even more glad to have a really good player (but not some crappy vet) take that opportunity away. Makes sense, I was just wondering. I wonder how much value Pie has right now. Id be all for a move of Fuku to CF, if it means we can get a stud RF.

I wish Harden was going in the series instead of Lilly. Z could go Fri, Demp on Sat, and Harden on Sunday would seem much better.
