  1. Man thats a tough one. Pairing Johnson with Nicks would be pretty damn good, but starting Jackson/McCoy/Bradshaw each week is a pretty good trio also. Id probably have to say no just because you can play your 3 RB's like you said, and you know they are going to get the ball, whereas Johnson could have weeks he doesnt get many receptions and or TD's.
  2. You said it. That's why I'm mixed on this one. It all depends on how the rest of your teams stack up. Torain is a #1 RB in his team and has been playing well. Jennings started to play better, esp with Finley out, but WR's can be inconsistent. RB's are in short supply in my league, and therefore more valuable. For instance, I grabbed Roy Williams as a FA WR last week in my league. The best RB available are Chester Taylor and Darren Sproles. If Torain is firmly on your bench and your WR2 is Dez Bryant, then I'd do it, but its no lock. From my end, I have McCoy/Gore/McFadden/Moreno/Greene and picked up Woodhead and Ivory this week just for added depth. I can start 4 of the RB's as we have 2 RB spots and 2 flex spots and Id feel pretty comfortable with my 4 even without Torrain. My WR's I have Mike Wallace/Woodhead/Mike Williams(TB)/Bryant so as you can see Im lacking in my WR's but with Wallace/Jennings Id feel much better. I was mainly just worried about it being lopsided in my favor and angering the other guys in my league since Im commish and our trades only need commish approval. Thanks for the help though
  3. Would this be a fair trade? Give up Torrain Dez Bryant Receive Jennings My cousin needs another RB bad. He's starting Marion Barber on a weekly basis that's how bad his RB situation is. This is his 1st year playing fantasy football so since I have some depth at RB I was thinking of offering him this deal, but I don't know if I'm offering enough? I don't want the other guys in my league complaining that I ripped off the new guy so thought I'd run it by here 1st. He's got Wayne/Smith(NY)/ Santana Moss at WR if he does this deal and can only start 2. Plus waiver WR's lot easier to find than RB in our league. Thanks for the help
  4. Standard scoring league Pick 2 Lynch vs Ari Torrain vs Chi McFadden vs Den Pick 1 or 2 if you feel better option than my RB's listed above for my flex Branch vs SD Colston vs TB Roy Williams vs NYG
  5. I'd go Moss, Bess, and Moore. Possibly pick up Avant for 1 week but not sure he will be better than the 1st 3.
  6. It's a press conference, take it easy. And its still a meaningless phrase. Saying "he knows how to be a Cub" was criteria they looked for in the next manager is ignorant.
  7. Jesus, 2 mins in and Ricketts already spouting the "knows how to be a Cub" bs. Give it a rest
  8. Looking back over the game logs in the month of Sept while Quade was manager has me a bit concerned about him overworking starting pitchers. I only looked over Zambrano and Dempsters and for a team that was 20 games out of contention, they each had more than 2 starts in Sept/Oct over 115 pitches, with them both going over 120. Demp went over 120 two or 3 times in Sept/Oct. There really is no call for that when we were so far out of it. Demp threw 124 pitches the last game of the year.....
  9. Not sure how much of that I believe. The Cubs made Sandberg go to the minors and coach so he could get experience, why would Maddux be any different?
  10. His [expletive] knee was down. Jesus Christ
  11. Lynch will be a non factor in this game.
  12. Pick 2 between Desean Jackson, Colston, Roy Williams, Mike Williams(TB), Boldin. Im leaning towards Boldin/Jackson
  13. I'd go with Ellis, Garcon, and Sims-Walker I got a few Pick Three of: Ahmad Bradshaw v. Det Michael Turner @ PHI Michael Bush @ SF Ryan Torian v. IND Jahvid Best @ NYG I am thinking Bradshaw (he's a lock), Turner, and Bush (if McFadden doesn't play) Pick one: Bears D/ST v. SEA San Diego D/ST @ STL My thinking is if you have Ryan Torain this is the week to play him. Bradshaw is a must start and Turner and Bush are good bets also, but I dont think Turner does much this week vs Philly and hes the guy Id bench, but thats me. Also Bears D all the way just cause San Diego special teams is horrible.
  14. I bet you didn't call this one.... http://www.chicagobreakingsports.com/2010/10/bears-shuffle-o-line-move-chris-williams-to-guard.html WTF
  15. Not good news for the Packers.
  16. Torrain vs Indy is a no brainer in my opinion. Indy is allowing a lot of yards on the ground
  17. I'd do this trade in an instant. Do it and then stand pat, or do it and see if I can sell high on my WR depth?
  18. I also need some advice. 8 team league normal scoring not PPR or PPC. 1QB 2WR 2RB 1TE and a W/R position along with 4 defensive players. Ive been offered Ahmad Bradshaw and Boldin for MJD/Dez Bryant. I have LT at my other RB spot and starting WR's are Colston/Desean Jackson. Colston has been brutal so far this year and MJD hasnt been great either. However, outside of 1 week Boldin hasn't been great either while Bradshaw is having a good season. I have Ryan Torrain starting in my flex spot right now with McFadden as my other back on the bench right now cause of injury. Should I do this trade and then look to see if I can sell high on my WR depth of Colston,Jackson, Boldin, Roy Williams, Mike Williams for someone like Felix Jones maybe? When I say sell high I mean straight up for Jones. The guy who has Jones has Kevin Walter as a starting WR. Any help would be appreciated.
  19. Go Dolphins and Cowboys!
  20. Hahaha omg thats so [expletive] awesome
  21. Jermichael Finley out at least 3 weeks according to ESPN. Arthroscopic knee surgery
  22. Ill give Martz credit, he definitely doesn't point the finger at other guys, or shy away from taking the blame. Its pretty refreshing to have a coach in Chicago like that. With that said, man he makes it sound like the Bears are a bunch of dummies.
  23. What did we get for ARam? And Zambrano?
