1 ip 8 runs 7 hits 3 bb 1k So you are saying a 72.00 ERA and a 10.00 WHIP so far isnt good? It's cool, not all of the runs were earned. I think it's only a 54.00 ERA. Edit: Never mind, all earned. Yahoo's box score is stupid. Its now an 81.00 ERA lol 90.00!

If Morton was starting on your fantasy team, I think the season was already lost. Haha he was my daily waiver wire pickup, because I had no pitchers starting today. What better pitcher to pickup than the one facing the Cubs? Win-win situation lol

A win's a win. Obviously, I want to win, but even if we sweep this series, Im going to have to see what happens on the always painful west coast road trip before I tell myself this team has a chance again. Who cares if its agaisnt a crap team. We play alot of crap teams the rest of the way, if we can domintate them like we have the entire 2nd half, and just try to even play .500 against the "good" teams, we will be right in the race till the end. Problem is, we havnt able to play .500 against good teams. Granted we dont play a lot of them, but we have 8 games vs. the Dodgers and Giants in their houses. I said a long time ago that if the Cubs are ever going to win a world series, it will be an uphill battle, not like last year where they stormed into the playoffs without looking back. And by the time we play them we will have Lilly, Z, and ARam back.

how much violence and / or nudity is allowed in a game thread? The interwebs may not have enough to get the Cubs out of this funk. . . . . . . If I were to do a game thread, tomorrow's is all I could do. . . I'm heading out of town and couldn't be relied on for the remainder of the weekend. Well at least 2morrows would get us straightened out!

Yea I sat out there for the Cleveland game vs Lee for the 1st time, and I had or seen no problems. Everybody having a good time drinking watching the game, and having fun with some of the uhh well endowed females out there. No fights, no problems, nothing, and this was a Sat 3 10 game. -

Are you talking about Milton Bradley? The guy that is OPSing .930 in home games? It's amazing how people still bash Bradley. He's not the problem. Of course you'd like his power numbers to be better, but my God. He nearly has a .400 OBP and his OPS is close to .800. I can't complain with Milt. I love Milt, but he was paid to OPS near .900 not .800. While true, with how bad he started it is going to take a miraculous 2nd half to get him to a 900OPS. Since the All Star Break hes over 900
