  1. I really want to see them get a guy to the side of Nabokov and "shoot" it right to him when he comes out to challenge.
  2. That was a "I assume you are going to hook him so I'll call it" call.
  3. Meh, it is what it is. We are one bad bounce away from a 2-1 series, which isn't near as fun as 2-0. Or we're one good bounce away from 3-0 and virtually writing our ticket to the conference final. Nervousnervousnervousnervous
  4. Not yet. He's done way too much on the defensive end for me to say he's a choker. Agreed, but he has to score there. He knew he only had a second to get off that shot and from that position that's a gimme, not a shot that requires puck control before shooting. Did you see the replay? He pulled the puck out of Nabakov's pads too fast for himself to get it to the forehand, and by time it got to the backhand it was too late. His only sin was pulling the puck out of the goalie's pads too fast, and that's hardly unforgiveable.
  5. We're through 7.5 periods, San Jose has one even-strength goal.
  6. Toews has the franchise record for consecutive playoff games with a point: 12.
  7. The "blast through traffic" attack is so frustrating when it doesn't work and so awesome when it does.
  8. Welcome to the United Center, Mr. McCreary.
  9. So nervous about the rest of this season. Trying so hard not to get my hopes up. I am one bad game away from sulleying the heck out of this thread.
  10. 6-7. Is one little stretch of 6-7 hockey too much to ask? (6-0 would work too)
  11. Forgive my ignorance, but why is McCreary reffing an automatic loss for us? Never mind, I was thinking of Koharski.
  12. crapcrapcrapcrapcrapcrap McCreary is reffing tonight. Mark this as a loss.

  14. Wait, the S-o-meter was sarcastic? I did not know that.
  15. A blob of steel from the building of the facilities. Also, a penis.
  16. The mascot is, well, a one-eyed monster. http://www.timesonline.co.uk/multimedia/archive/00719/Mascot185_719113a.jpg
  17. Odds to win the Stanley Cup that I've seen online today: Blackhawks -200 or 2-to-3, which iirc are the same thing, and either way means we are currently favored over the rest of the field combined.
  18. I assumed public opinion already knew that all cyclists are on PEDs.
  19. It's still sinking in on me how good they have to be to win seven consecutive road playoff games.
  20. From the "Everything is set up perfectly for a soul-crushing collapse department": Teams that win the first two games on the road in the Conference Finals have won the series 14 out of 15 times. Also, the Cubs haven't lost with Wood and Prior back-to-back all season.
