Since the SEC starting looking into their books that rat bastard Jeff L. is starting to spend the money he's been skimming from MLB. [expletive] the "MIAMI" Marleens. I was basing it on only being able to sign a couple of Type A FA per offseason. They've got Reyes and Bell already. Seeing the new rules would help, but if they got Wilson, which seems unlikely now, I think that would have been it for them. Under the old rules, Bell and Reyes would have been it. There were few enough Type A's that the limit was two per team.

    At a minimum, they burn something like $2 million cutting him after his arbitration award. More likely, they just get stuck with him for one year at like $12 million that they had planned on spending elsewhere.
