    Castro and Vitters both walked TWICE today. What the hell is going on!? 2007-2010: 3.4% 2011: 4.5% This season: 6.2% He's made real progress in this area. If he can keep it in the 5-6% range it's more like "acceptably bad" than "horrific."

    This is weird, because you don't normally say stupid things. He's not having the kind of season we hoped. A lot more like pre-2011 Garza than the 2011 version we hoped we'd see from now on. It's kinda quiet and no one wants to talk about it.

    Beckham's been a 20% K guy in his bad years. If Vitters can't keep it at 15% in the majors, then yeah he'll probably hit like Beckham.

    That's pretty much where I am. As much as I love him as a prospect, he just doesn't fit with their stated organizational offensive philosophy. His P/PA is still pretty awful.

    Iowa is for putting our best prospects in holding patterns to save on service time. Shuffling through late-20 something failed prospects while losing 100 games is what Chicago is for.

    Concepcion settled down after his traditionally awful first inning. He actually had more IP than R (6:5) and more K than BB (2:1).
