  1. We are screwing up game-thread starting worse than Epstein is screwing up running a baseball team.
  2. We have one in rants.
  3. That's a 77-win rotation if I ever saw one.
  4. Everyone is miserable and hates our prospects now. This is glorious.
  5. So were you assuming 2015 would be the year he suddenly takes on a full starter's load? Or never? What is the doom from last year you speak of as being wrong? Javy gave us a bit of a scare.
  6. If it were possible, this would be pretty much the only situation ever where I'd advocate trading down.
  7. Down to 0.6 fWAR for his Cubs' career. Can we call that a failed signing?
  8. The Blues aren't going to admit to sending him out there with a concussion.
  9. Bryant has great stats but is also striking out a metric ton at AA. But it's probably nothing to worry about because good stats with high Ks at AA never turns disastrous.
  10. It's probably best to accept that he's never, ever going to be a full-time starter in the majors.
  11. Well, 3/5 < 4/5, but it puts them in the conversations. It'll also be as many in any five-year stretch as the Bulls ever won.
  12. Do the wild still play that awful game-killing trap?
  13. It's not *that* random. It's not MLB. There's a reason you routinely see the same teams win over and over again. It's not quite the NBA, but the best teams tend to win most of the time in the playoffs.
  14. They know if they get out of line we'll smack 'em around some more. Beaten.
  15. Now shake Seabrooks hand! Shaakkkke it....
  16. No but their fans will tell you they have a knack for it going back way more than the last two years. I became a hockey fan in the early 1990s, and this is basically how I always remember the Blues. A regular-season juggernaut who becomes a nice foil in the playoffs for the Red Wings or the Avs or now the Blackhawks.
  17. We had back-to-back first-round exits recently, too. It's just hard to remember because it was ringed by a pair of championships.
  18. I really hope we get a video of each and every one of them shaking Seabrooks' hand.
  19. Another under the radar pickup by Theo. I'm loving it. He helped close out the game after a really good start by another nice Theo pickup. In between, the guy Theo traded for didn't do too bad, either. I'll leave the room now. Fling enough crap at the wall and a little bit of it sticks, sure.
  20. http://fc02.deviantart.net/fs71/f/2013/070/1/b/it_s_over__speed_gif__by_iceutoki-d5xr1vt.gif
  21. Break their spirits! Crush their souls!
  22. If they called it a high stick and not a hook, yes: http://www.nhl.com/ice/page.htm?id=26297
  23. This *could* be our 11th playoff series win in five years. We are *averaging* a conference finals trip per season.
  24. LOL, that was terrible Miller. *Now* would be a great chance to get a goalie chant going.
