    The rebuild is like one of those horrible Modern Defense games where you respond to 1. e4 with g6 and basically just give white everything while you hold on and wait for the counterattack opportunity, but instead you make the first mistake and just get completely rolled.

    I don't know if I can agree with that. Those are both skills that can look very good in the low minors when everyone is terrible, but erode as you move up.

    SYS was way better than Hey Dude, but Hey Dude was better than nothing. There was no Netflix in those days, people. Sometimes you just had to live with Mr. Ernst and Buddy. I can never see Michelle Trachtenberg as attractive because she'll always be Nona F. Mecklenberg to me.

    Much like Castro, 750 PAs of .340+ BAIP just don't sell me that Castillo can do that forever. I still expect a .300-.310 OBP from him long-term. But Rizzo is a beast and Castro has me excited again.

    It's the same double standard we always go through in Chicago. They hate Sosa for leaving a game early, but can't wait to get back a guy who literally quit on his team midseason. They ran Zambrano out of town for being a hothead, but practically canonized a guy who Sprewell'd his coach and choked out a vendor for heckling him.
