    Yeah, normally I'd say that if you can't find one guy you like more than the others, then you aren't trying hard enough. But this collection of guys likely to be available at No. 4 is just so meh. I don't really want to pay No. 4 prices for any of them.

    Agreed. For a one-year shot at the SB, I see how drafting defense might have been a good idea. You get the maximum bang for your buck by replacing the worst players. But in order to help keep the window open for a few years, I wouldn't have minded them doubling down on offense.

    In his mock last week, Keith Law suggested the Cubs were considering underslotting Max Pentecost at 1.4. So we're underslotting and taking a catcher, but we're taking a college position player. I don't know how I'd feel.
