    Yeah, that's the stupid part. It's really hard to avoid going from "well, it might make sense but everyone will be in on him if they even trade him at all so who knows" to it being impossible to post a 2015 projection without someone insisting you include him.

    Basically. As far as the bat goes, that comp looks really strong to me as far as being same age at Iowa and doing the same things. Rizzo is strikeoutier but also had a lot less pro experience including no previous stint at AAA.

    Seeing other teams' fans start trying to come up with bad trade proposals to "relieve" the Cubs of their excess position prospects for lesser pitching prospects just reminds me how much I don't want to make any trades and screw pitchers forever.

    So are the 2015 Cubs. I'm not saying they'll win the division. But unless the front office takes goes from tanking to outright sabotage, they'll be decent and young and exciting.
