  1. Sometimes I’m spoiled by all the years of getting to watch Cutler, but Trubisky’s arm looked good that drive.
  2. Yeah, but getting sliced up pretty good by the 49ers offense outside of that play also happened. But the comment you responded to was in response to that play. I'm aware. Hence why I said "also" and not some sort of rebuttal. I was expanding.
  3. Kyle Fuller, however, is having a pretty good year
  4. They also have a lot of bad football players. This game looks super losable so far. I haven't been paying really close attention to draft position, but that can only help. Shoving the quarterback when he's already out of bounds on 3rd and long falls into the stupid/poorly coached category Yeah, but getting sliced up pretty good by the 49ers offense outside of that play also happened.
  5. Wait, they have Robbie Gould? That hurts.

  7. Written proposals is what I would do if I already had my mind made up and didn't want to sit through actual proposals from all the teams I had no intention of joining.
  8. Michael Jordan was not a mentally healthy man. Isn't the joke that he did walk away? something something gambling suspension
  9. Michael Jordan was not a mentally healthy man.
  10. I had to pick up a table from a craigslist ad for my sister from one of those 8-figure Laguna houses overlooking the ocean cliffs. It was tiny, but the living room had a gigantic window and the view was horsefeathering ridiculous.
  11. I think Trubisky's gotten pretty lucky with interceptions. He's hit a lot of defenders' hands. But today was his best game so far and I'm encouraged by the progress I'm seeing. He made noticeably higher percentage of quick, accurate reads than we've seen before.
  12. Bears lead the league in moral victories since firing Smith
  13. I do not believe the graphic that says Barth once hit a 57-yarder
  14. Defense shows flashes but it isn’t amazing
  15. In before 8-8. Changed my mind, they’re kinda good
  16. The throw to Shaheen to get it inside the 10 was perfect.
  17. the league where horsefeathers teams struggle to win 4 games in a full season? or accidentally win 7 games because of parity and an only 16 game schedule variance can swing a season winning percentage much more than in any sport. two plays can literally be the difference between a .500 or a .375 winning percentage. I get that, but I suspect this team is already pretty far on the plus side of that variance. This isn't a .375 team that might get lucky and threaten .500. This is a horsefeathers team that has gotten lucky to threaten .375.
  18. They were at home with the bye week against a decimated Packers team on a short week. I'm not super worried about winning too many games. Decimated? Have you seen the Bears injuries? Yes. Another reason I'm not worried.
  19. I don’t hate it but honestly what’s the point unless you are evaluating Fangio’s ability to be a head coach. I know there’s been some trashing on him after this one but he’s the only coach with any sort of remote potential to be an NFL ahead coach on the staff lock in that firing asap...i don't want to risk them riding this schedule to 7 wins or something and that being sold as progress. They were at home with the bye week against a decimated Packers team on a short week. I'm not super worried about winning too many games.
  20. He had to stretch to max extension to get his hands to it, with no defensive presence to force the throw there. Good NFL QBs put that throw two feet further down. Sure thing boss. Good NFL QBs never need their receivers to make catches on balls that don't hit then in the numbers. k
  21. Yeah not impressed with his accuracy overall today although he had some nice throws Hit him in the hands He had to stretch to max extension to get his hands to it, with no defensive presence to force the throw there. Good NFL QBs put that throw two feet further down.
