  1. I still have my GWRB account from that offseason and use it very occasionally.
  2. In 2004 there was a poster named Controversy. When we had the old picture thread, she posted a picture. Tree was impressed and started talking to her. We actually had an outing with me, tree, controversy and an old poster (his name is mark, drawing a blank on NSBB name) at a Cubs/Expos game (Scott Downs pitched a complete game shutout for Montreal). I believe this was their first meeting and they ended up dating for a bit, so I'm assuming they had sexy time. Ah cool. Now come back Tree. Side note, Kyle's green shirt pic with others faces imposed never got old for me. I do not remember this.
  3. That was a horsefeathers-ass read by Glennon on the pick.
  4. I mean, I agree, but I'm also biased because I just really want to watch Trubisky.
  5. First set of three straight postseasons since 1906-08.
  6. They're going to get housed in almost half their games and most of the other half will be dragged down into a Fox-style slog where someone has to win, of which they'll probably win about half. 5-11
  7. It's true though to some degree. I remember when the Cubs clinched with a Brewers loss in 07 people were going nuts and took over the intersection of Clark and Addison celebrating (I may or may not have made the front page of the Trib the next day). Of course that was a Friday night vs a Wednesday night so understandable if the celebration in Wrigleyville is not as nuts. Either way, maybe it's not as much of a rush to clinch a playoff spot with recent success but that actually makes me feel more satisfied knowing that we've accomplished so much. Nothing will ever match 2003 in terms of division-clinching excitement for me. But then, nothing will ever match 2016.
  8. fixed I am also a rural midwest horsefeatherstain. It makes sense when you think about it.
  9. Get dunked on forever you rural midwest horsefeatherstains
  10. Touchback. The Bears player fumbling makes him liable for the impetus that caused the ball to go into the end zone. Iirc, if it goes out of the end zone without being intentionally batted it becomes a touchback too.
  11. I know they still won, but I'm still mad about Cohen getting robbed of an all-time great winning play.
  12. Ok. I guess an end to end TD drive in OT made entirely of runs is useful
  13. That looked like the fastest kid on the playground in two-hand touch. He was in but I don't know if they overturn
  14. I would take that bet if I were a betting man. horsefeathers team is gonna have a lot of prevent defenses to pad stats again
  15. Yeah because you think this team is terrible and yet the defense and running gane are good enough to have them up 10 against the steelers. You clown troll. The defense is doing ok. But two special teams turnovers are the reason they are winning.
  16. If this is an elite running game, then having an elite running game is slightly more valuable than an elite long snapper
  17. No points at all? There is gonna be some dumb rules explanation for why
