    Because, in my estimation and from watching them, this Commanders offense is better than any of those 13 They're especially good at not turning the ball over, and their QB won't throw away third downs, the two keys our defense used to success.

    If Daniels plays, holding this offense under 20 would be the greatest accomplishment of the eberflus era

    With Daniels in, I think the Bears' odds of winning dip below 50/50. The Washington offense has been incredibly efficient and reliable. They don't turn the ball over, they don't let you get off the field for free with bad throws. That's exactly the kind of offense that can negate our defense. The Bears offense is capable of doing the same thing, but they've had enough miscues that I don't fully trust them. To win this game, we need something like the jags game. There can't be rookie turnovers, there can't be a bunch of missed bombs, there can't be confusion over what routes are being run.

    I find the Jone hate to be a bit over the top. Every fan base needs a scapegoat. He's fine for what he is as a fringe roster guy and it doesn't hurt anything to have him around or to cut him.

    Which means they wanted 2 active roster spots. Borom, Martin and Homer all practiced the last two days and are eligible to return from IR. PIckens also practiced in full the last two days, but he wasn't IR, so he won't need a spot cleared to become active.

    Could be worse. Darrisaw confirmed season-ending knee injury for the Vikings. That's absolutely crushing for them.

    That reallllly sucks. Gonna need the offense to win it for us, I dunno if the defense can bail us out if Daniels plays.

    Commanders coach is saying Daniels did practice today despite reporters saying they didn't see him, so who knows

    It's not a bad market to pick up second-tier DE that would still be an upgrade and presumably cost a lot less. Although we might have already used our budget for that kind of stuff on Allen. I really don't care for any of our DEs besides Sweat all that much (yes, I know booker has some long-term upside, but I mean for the near future). Meanwhile, Daniels does not appear to be practicing today. That's gotta be it, they were just stalling on admitting he's out. I'm not going to pretend to be sorry to miss him, but damn it would suck to lose to Mariota.

    Darrisaw just got his knee rolled into. Not a Doctor (tm) but it looked bad.

    Rams doing a good job of showing how you beat the Vikings defense: Screens in the flat and flood the strong side with receivers. It's not free, you have to execute it well, but it's there if you can do it.

    I like the Bears, but I think having Mariota instead of Daniels gives them a lot more margin for error.

    Stevenson practiced, Brisker and Gordon did not. Pickens also made his return to practice, but I assume he'll need some buildup before returning to games

    Jayden Daniels did not practice today. Commanders coach says "next update Friday" which I assume means he's not practicing Thursday either It's tea-leaf reading but I think it's less than 50/50 he plays
