  1. Red zone. Here's your chance, Mitch.
  2. That's one throw. Please make more.
  3. I'm trying to talk myself off the ledge with him. He's not Henry Burris/Tim Tebow levels of bad. He can hit simple underneath and over-the-middle throws. Maybe he's just nervous and inexperienced and once he calms down he'll get his footwork under him and start making great throws. It's not really convincing myself, though.
  4. Chase Daniel isn’t good either. That is the downside, isn't it :(
  5. I don't think I've ever seen an NFL team not throw to the lone guy out of that formation.
  6. When your QB can't give your WRs a chance, the plays look worse.
  7. He had one good, moderately difficult throw early in the drive and then whiffed on three or four that could have been touchdowns. At what point do you have trouble looking the rest of the team in the eye and telling them that a playoff berth might be blown because you have to keep running out a guy who might not be the best QB on your roster?
  8. I don't think Gabriel is the guy you want to throw double-teamed jump balls to.
  9. Cha-ase Daniel *clap clap clapclapclap*
  10. Arizona looks like they have our playbook.
  11. Honestly it looks like he landed on his funny bone.
  12. Our elite defense gets chunked way too easily.
  13. OT in Atlanta cutting into my feed :( Edit: Never mind, apparently NFL rules force them to cut away. Nice!
  14. Counterpoint: with both Mn and GB losing handily, the Bears could find themselves on-top if the NFC no matter the horsefeathering spread This is the Sliders bit where I show up in my home universe after a crazy week, look at the NFL scoreboard and see 24-0 Bills, and keep moving on because that's obviously not right.
  15. He's like for-real permanently broken, though.
  16. So, um, this game is happening today. Bears are a 5-point favorite on the road, which would be kinda cool if it wasn't for the fact that the Cardinals have lost their first two games by a combined score of 58-6. Now it feels kind of insulting. Laying the points and taking the under on 40.5 points both feel like excellent bets.
  17. This bouncing between a small lead and a medium lead in the division would be the most exciting way to finish a season if it weren't for how entitled to the division I feel we are.
  18. We should just concede the division out of shame at this point.
  19. Remember what's happened the next time people are getting all hot-and-bothered to sign someone in their pre-arb years to a mega-extension.
  20. Unlucky for him he's not as important to a playoff run as Chapman was.
  21. It's basically hockey season, who even cares.
  22. A fitting tribute to Mark Reynolds
  23. I hope the U.S. never gets a promotion/relegation system just to spite the people who won't stop complaining about it. The rest of the story was cool, though.
  24. Literally the only thing I want from this season is to not have to play a divisional rival in the NLDS.
  25. I still think a lot of our angst comes from the fact that being less than 5 games ahead of the Brewers is embarrassing no matter how good they may be. Still time to fix this.
