    There is no comeback. He's proposed a standard of measure and so have you. You can reject his standard, but he's not going to agree to that, and the Cubs do lose by his standard.

    I do it, and I find the objections to be asinine and pretentious. The entirety of organized sports beyond the scholastic level is based on the idea that fans identify themselves as part of a group supporting a single team, that the team represents them and their interests. Choice of pronoun reflects this.

    I am simultaneously furious at the Hawks for losing an important playoff game and ecstatic at them having an important playoff game to lose.

    I don't like how this ended for the Hawks (besides the final score). They need to be a little pissant team that tries to talk the other team into taking penalties but won't back it up when they come looking for fights. They can outskate Calgary just fine and win that way.
