  1. Hawks still haven't proven they can win in Calgary, but obviously two chances to win, with a home game in your pocket, is the best way to be right now.
  2. Let's just end this thing on Monday. Easier said than done.
  3. Outside of the fact that it's a completely [expletive] idea? Yes. Explain *why* the location of the game matters to the people watching on TV to the degree that they'd get angry about it.
  4. Calgary is about to be 0-5 in Chicago this season. Even if they win game 6, the Hawks have a big advantage in game 7.
  5. Traffic in front the net, short rebound went straight to a Calgary player, Khabibulin got his skate over but not his leg all the way down and it slipped under.
  6. Hawks outshoot them 15-3. They draw three power plays (well, two, and were gifted the first one). They were winning almost every faceoff, especially in the offensive zone. Three goals is wonderful, but it's even better to see it come from truly dominating play.
  7. Momentum is a myth. When will people understand this? 3-0 Hawks.
  8. Halfway through the first period, no shots on goal for Calgary.
  9. 1-0 Hawks on the power play, well-earned through several minutes of sustained pressure.
  10. Sarich makes the mistake of being the guy to jump in on a guy who is already engaged after the whistle.
  11. That was an awful, awful call on Calgary. I'll take it.
  12. About to get underway. This game is kinda important.
  13. Contract vs. performance, I don't think Urlacher has trade value anyway.
  14. With basically no first-day picks and Cutler's contract pretty reasonable, aren't the Bears setting up for some ungodly cap space in the near future?
  15. lol, Angelo, you are who you are :)
  16. lol, newbs learning hockey from Cyno. They'll get a good view of the passion and excitement, at least :)
  17. I'm just trying to figure out *why* it would make so many fans mad. They could hold the game in London, intersperse some Arizona outside shots for the lead-ins, and you'd never even know the difference.
  18. Well, aside from all of the NFL fans who can't afford a trip to Europe to see their team play (in a city that has zero connection to the NFL whatsoever). If you can afford Super Bowl tickets, you can afford a flight to London.
  19. Didn't you hear? The internets is free. Nobody has to pay for content because there's a demand for content, so someone will provide it :)
  20. I doubt it, but it'd be a very cool deal, imo. I don't see the problem.
  21. Jennings is also a 6-1 guard. Unless you've got Iverson-level talent, that's hard to overcome.
  22. I'm sure the $3.5 million Jennings made over there, while he could have been playing for free for a college that made millions off him, will console him. And he'll still be a top-10 pick, easily. This latest kid *is* betting on an NBA career. And for him, it's a good bet.
  23. Better instruction for basketball, which is likely to be the only field he'll ever work in.
  24. Good for him. He'll get a high six-figure salary, better instruction and more experience against better competition.
