    thats more per year than any pitcher out there, right? Z and zito are around 18 per if iirc. either way its still alot of money. if he could get them to add a year to that, or 1-2 mill/yr that may not be that huge a hometown discount

    memphis came out like gangbusters against uconn. thanks to some T's and generally sloppy play uconn is back in it. it seems that memphis has 5 guys who can score at any time and 5 more on the bench.

    Why? They aren't that good. The Diamondbacks are worse. I want to believe that, but the records tell a different story. And I don't think anyone could argue the DBacks had it rougher in the West. I'm with goons. I think we can win the series, but it will be a fairly tough task and we need to play good Cub baseball throughout. you had to feel a little funny when you typed that

    i hate the marlins. they're right behind the cardinals now.

    This is my favorite one from this year, but it only covers up to the all-star break. So predictable, but so good. still cracks me up.

    It's just hate-hate with the Brew cause we're in a race with them now. I don't remember too many people having a deep hatred for the Brew in years past. The Brew fans on her have all been classy. Same obviously is said for the Cards fans through the years. Except K-Town obviously No, I've always hated Milwaukee. They've resented us ever since they joined the NLC pretty much because we turn *their* stadium into Wrigley North. They think we're rich, preppy fans or something when in reality we're probably the most varied fan group by both age and vocation. The Cardinals are just different than Milwaukee. They've been here before, they've fought with us before, and we've developed a grudging respect for each other. Us and Milwaukee? Well, we're just not there yet. Also, Hart and Braun are doing all they can to replace Rolen and Edmonds as most annoying players in the NLC. I hate the cardinals more than I hate the Brewers. and its not even close.
