    Best lineup of the year. Enjoy it. Don't expect to ever see this lineup again. yeah i think this is a huge game, for that reason. pie and cedeno cant afford too many bad games or ABs.

    I switched to WGN 720 after the first 2 minutes. every time i try to do that there's a huge delay.

    decent chance carp gets back before mulder and clement. iirc with TJS the velo comes back quickly, but control takes longer. i'm sure he'll have a month of good starts if they're still in the race.

    how about putting blanco in every time theres a 6 run lead? the last 2 innings today would've been a little rest, i dont know fi that would really help.

    i'm expecting a pitcher to be called up today, am i wrong? ETA: i guess lieber (3.2IP) and Howry (2IP) are the only guys off limits today, so maybe a move isnt necessary. but lilly's likely to go down early

    classy another boneheaded move by yost. the effects it could've had on the rest of his body aside, there are different degrees of acl tears. he couldve made a slightly torn tendon a completely torn tendon. did he not see the immediate excruciating pain he was in?

    I'm going tomorrow. It sure would've been easier with a W today and with the Cards not in first place. Hopefully we can get a series win and the cards remember that they suck.

    unbelievable dumb play by the reds in stl. 2nd(keppinger) and 3rd(cpatt) one out, grounder to third results in rundown between home and 3rd for cpatt. cpatt gets chased back to 3rd, but keppinger is standing on the bag. cpatt knows he's out and heads to the dugout, keppinger inexplicably leaves 3rd base and runs to second. molina is like 5 ft away with the ball, throws to 2nd, inning over. :banghead:

    why announce this now? you figure the brewcrew has some personnel decisions to make( add 15th pitcher, etc). no need to give them any early notice we're loading up on righties
