    how big are the active rosters in september? are guys not on the 40 man eligible? i dont see a big reason to not have him just hanging out, working out with some veterans for a month. as long as lou wont be playing with a short squad because of it.

    there's been blow-ups lately with the 8th and 9th inning guys starting each inning with no one on (iirc last saturday at busch). cant put that on yost.

    is yost viewed as bad manager? it seems they've had multiple reasons for their collapse since the ASB, i dont know how you could put that on the manager.

    the right reaction to tragedy is to sue right away. only after you realize you raised a dumbass and everyone has hired their lawyers can you drop the case.

    cub fans cant win when the cards play the brewers. if the crew had taken 3/4, we'd be in alot worse shape.

    it seems their pen, which is their biggest strength, has thrown alot of innings. looper has never thrown this many. i'd expect their pen to start giving up more runs.

    hire a sitter and go to the strip club. Or have the sitter strip for you. all these would've been better options. to top it off, i just heard ours was one of about 6 cars broken into next to the stadium. nothing real valuable taken, other than a check book, but having to replace a window in our 1 month old car is a nice kick in the pants.
