I think Hendry has always wanted to extend Dusty. He's hoping that by the time the season is over, he can sneak this one under the radar. He's wrong in thinking that. But I think Dusty is Hendry's guy and the only way Dusty goes is if Hendry goes first. -
Nice play by Walker to stay in there.... oh wait, he sucks.

Dusty with the quick hook. Personally, I'd let the kid stay out there. This game is meaningless. He either gets Pujols to escape the jam or he doesn't.

I was just thinking of what I'm going to yell at Edmonds on Saturday at the game, then I saw your post and it made me wonder... how'd the AJP heckling go that you talked about? So-so...there was a 10-year old sitting in front of me, so I kept it PG. That doesn't sound like the Vance I know. Parenthood has tamed me.

Nah...I didn't take the time to make one before I left town and I didn't want to go looking for materials to make one once I got to Chicago.

Agreed. In Baker's four seasons, he has had two average seasons and two horrendous seasons. How does that justify an extension? Knowing Baker, he'll want more money than he has on his current contract. Knowing Hendry, he'll get it. -
