could he possibly be worse the Rothschild? you might be right, he' might be circling waiting for the axe to fall on Dusty & Co. to try and get in.. I'm not sure. We could ask the pitchers he worked with during the Cubs outstanding runs during his first tenure.
I don't think anyone has attacked CBB. They have attacked his ideas. They have attacked his viewpoint quite well, and often have used satire and sarcasm to do so. Has anyone attacked him personally? No. I don't think so.
Someone may be trying to get back in the coaching ranks again... but my best guess is now Fergie isn't invited to ST next year. "You're either for us or against us," so says the toothpick.
I think Gallagher should be rated higher - for the reasons you've stated - and also because, Gallagher has better control than Veal and his secondary pitches are more advanced. Veal is still pretty raw. Maybe some like their Veal rare.
I don't think this is a good deal for the Cardinals, but I'd hate for Dontrelle to go there. I like Dontrelle, and I would have to hate him if he goes to the Cardinals. Oh well....
I wonder if Philly would do this deal: Abreu for Williams and Harvey with the Cubs picking up most if not all of the salary? I would jump at doing that deal if I'm the Cubs.
