    He has a lot of stretches in that draft including Earl Thomas down to #22. I can't imagine Bryant being the 2nd WR taken, but I would love it. I agree that there are a number of surprises, but he has historically been really good on nailing a lot of the picks. We'll see how it shakes out this year. I think if Thomas is still there at 18-20, the Cowboys are going to move up and get him. He fits more of a need than Bryant. I wouldn't be surprised to see the Cowboys try to move up for either player, but I don't think they will make a massive move. Maybe 6-8 spots, but that would be it.

    others have already mentioned it, but you are giving Lou too much credit for taking a team with a top payroll to the playoffs 2 out of 3 years....that certainly isn't the only 'stat' that really matters regarding whether we should trust Lou's decisions or not. Managers are like the groom at a wedding. They look important, but in reality, they have little to dowith it if the whole thing is a success, but if they go ape [expletive] crazy, they can sure [expletive] things up in a hurry.

    Gosselin's last mock. His is usually the most accurate of the mocks. Link Some key points. He has Clausen sliding all the way to the Vikings. Dex Bryant falls the the Cowboys. Buffalo taking Dan Williams. Demaryius Thomas going to the Dolphins.

    If the real draft fell this way, I think I'd be [expletive] my pants. The Cowboys went bpa by taking Bryant in the first. Now they will fill a need, but also get a pretty good player. Cowboys select Morgan Burnett, S, GTech

    No discussion is really needed here. While the Cowboys would like to get a safety and OL in this draft after the release of Hamlin and Flozell, the Cowboys are going to take the best player available. Dez Bryant is a top ten maybe even top five talent. Getting him at 27 is a steal. Cowboys select WR Dez Bryant. If the real draft shakes out this way, I will need new pants. Bryant paired with Miles Austin would give the Cowboys a lethal combination of receivers.

    Cashner will be up in the bullpen by the end of the May. The desperation of the situation will cause it to happen. If that's the case, I'd rather it happen sooner rather than later.
